Chalet La Floria is a large detached 6 bedroom house furnished in a contemporary style located just outside the village of Les Praz, 2km from the centre of Chamonix and 1/2km from the Flegere ski lift. The house is set in a large mature garden complete with a hot tub providing stunning views of the surrounding mountains. On the ground floor there is a large open plan dining/reception area complete with wood burning fireplace, large plasma TV, satellite, hifi, internet access & separate WC. There is a good sized kitchen, fully fitted with 5 ring range cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher. The 1st floor incorporates 3 large en suite double bedrooms of which 2 have balconies. The top floor consists of a double bedroom,bathroom and 2 twin bedrooms one of which has an en suite shower, toilet and washbasin. The basement completes the house with a ski room,washing machine, tumble dryer and an additional fridge/freezer. There is also parking for up to 3 cars.

La Floria - A Delight

A group of us stayed at Chalet La Floria for a weeks skiing holiday and couldn't have asked for more. The chalet is so conveniently located, with ski hire just across the road, and the lifts at La Flegere a short walk away (no need to battle for the parking space!) - we were able to make the first lift of the day in remarkably relaxed fashion. With the centre of Chamonix just 2km away the chalet avoided the hustle and bustle of the centre of town, whilst making the (regular) apres ski trips into the centre quick and easy - very important after a tiring day on the slopes!
The chalet itself was very well appointed and maintained - I would say that it had been freshly painted before our stay. The log fire in the reception area is just so nice to have to unwind. The bedrooms were all clean and spacious with good ensuite facilities (very important when there are party of you eager to get going to the mountains). Although I can't comment on the hot tub from personal experience I am reliably informed by friends in our group that it was excellent!!!
The best recommendation I can give for this place is that we decided we'd go back again.
