Our luxury 2 bedroom apartment is just 50 metres from the 9 km promenade and the wonderful beach and tranquil waters of the Mar Menor. The lounge has a settee, separate dining table and chairs, television and DVD player. The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, electric kettle and toaster. The air conditioned bedrooms offer flexible accommodation. They can be configured with 2 single beds in each room or as a large double bed in each room. There is an outside terrace with patio table and chairs. The apartment block has direct access to the communal pool that has a separate children's area.

Los Alcazares and Los Narejos are located right on the Mar Menor (Minor Sea) which is the largest salt-water lagoon in Europe It is a huge sheltered expanse of 170 square kilometres warm and calm water as channel to the open sea. The Mar Menor provides for all types of water sports mixture of everything; oheere is only a narrow access channel. The Mar Menor will leave water sports enthusiasts spoilt for choice with sailing, canoeing, swimming, water skiing, jet-skiing, fly-surfing, windsurfing right on the doorstep. The golf courses of La Manga, Polaris World Mar Menor and La Torre are within easy reach. In fact, the area is considered one of Europe's best golf and sailing destinations. Los Alcazares is a lovely old Spanish town; there are and there are many beach bars and cafes along the promenade. Cycling is also a popular past time here.

Four of us stayed at this apartment in September 2009. It would be a great place to stay if there were two of you, but found the one bathroom a wee bit awkward between the four of us. The apartment itself was very clean, bright and cheery and very comfortable although a bit on the small side, but then again you shouldn't spend too much time indoors when you are on holiday. It is a shame that the rest of the complex is not completed, there were so many unoccupied/unsold apartments opposite which were not looked after as much as the blocks which were occupied. We didn't use the pool on the complex as the sea being a much nicer option was only a stones throw away. The daytime was great as there was a good choice of beach bars within easy walking distance offering a good selection of food and beveridges, however, these close at dusk. If anyone is considering renting this apartment, I think a car would be very useful, especially in the evenings or for days out to explore the region. If you need to go out for the evening the local taxis offer an excellent service which cost between five/seven euros for each journey if you are going to the local square which offers a wide variety of restaurants/bars or the Oasis. Overall we enjoyed our holiday and love this area of Spain and would definitely book again.

We've discovered Nueva Riberia beach appartments year ago and did our choice of location to stay for this summer holidays distinctively. Perfect place for enjoyable walks, swimming and water sports. Excellent furnitured appartment in front of nice sandy beach. Frendly athmosphere around nice communal pool,

Excellent for young children

This is a super location to relax and unwind. The apartment is clean and tidy with a lovely pool and a very freindly helpful security guard. The beach is a minutes walk directly by the kite surfing school which is fantastic to either watch or partake in. 5 minutes walk takes you to the family section of the beach away from the water sports. My daughter is 3 and you could not wish for a safer place for a child to build up their confidence in the non tidal lagoon. It is a long walk along the promenade to the actual main centre of Los Alcazares (if you dont want to drive) but there are plenty of beach side cafes/bars serving snacks and drinks and other restaurants about 20 minutes walk. If you want a nice relaxed family holiday without the hassle this is great and it was nice that my dogs were welcome too!

Indeed a superb beach location

Stayed at this apartment in august 2009, had a wonderfull relaxing beach holiday. Apartment very well furnished, looks great and it has been a great pleasure staying there. Beach is at your doorstep, with loads of little bars for a drink and a tapas lunch. Los Alcazares itself is full of restaurants and shops. Would recommend this apartment to anyone. Owner provided excellent sevice, there is a very helpfull guard on the property 24-7. And the mar menor itself ......... We will be back!
