The Highlands of Scotland are the finest holiday destination in the UK.
Situated in the district of Lochaber close to the town of Fort William, which is the official 'Outdoor Capital of the UK', Kilcamb Cottages are strategically placed at the gateway to Ardnamurchan and some of the finest scenery in Britain. To the south are the Morvern hills and the short crossing to the lovely island of Mull; to the northwest 'The Road to the Isles' takes you to Mallaig and the ferry crossing to Skye and the Hebrides. The scenery on this road is quite breathtaking and diversions to Castle Tioram and the beaches at the Silver Sands of Morar should not be missed.
Lying to the west is the Ardnamurchan peninsula and the most westerly point of the British mainland. It is a land of contrasts, from the deep mysterious glens to the soaring hills, from lush vegetation to wild desolation. Looking over the white sands of Sanna to the islands of Eigg, Rum, Muck and Skye is an unforgettable experience.
