Notes: Château D'Illusion is a a very spacious property - The main house has a large elegantly furnished sitting and dining room at ground level + a very large entertaining lounge with bar at lower level. At this lower level is also an indoor jacuzzi, sauna, some gym equipment and a double bedroom with four poster bed. At ground level are 1 master bedroom with en suite bathroom plus a large twin bed room with en suite. At ground level also is the most impressive entrance hall, guest toilet, fully equipped kitchen and utility room At upper level are 3 further bedrooms - all with en suite. The villa is composed of the main house, as listed above + smaller adjoining 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house with separate kitchen, lounge and terraces. The villa is surrounded by several sunny or shady terraces, and well maintained garden and private pool. We welcome smokers to our villa - as long as they smoke on 1 of the many outside terraces.

Places to see: With fantastic infrastructure - the delights of Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla and Rhonda - are well within acceptable travelling time from La Hacienda de Mijas Golf. Close to the villa are the beautiful mountain villages of Mijas and Benalmadena Pueblo, the lovely marinas of Benalmadena and of course the much loved Puerto Cabopino Don't let us forget the beauty of the capital of our province - Malaga. Famous for its old quarter - with attractive streets lined with enticing bars serving Rioja and fabulous selections of tapas. Malaga of course is the home of 1 of Spain's favourite sons - Pablo Ruiz Picasso

Great option for a large family / group of friends

We stayed here in March 09 for a long hen weekend. This was absolutely perfect for what we needed.

The villa is a great size for a large group, and even though there were 15 of us we had plenty of space, with lots of bedrooms and the downstairs lounge and outdoors area were perfect for socialising.

Rooms were lovely, kitchen was good, with an additional separate annexe which was put to great use.

Location was good for getting around, although I would recommend car hire, there is a local supermarket and train station within walking distance once you get your bearings.

As we were the first to stay in the season there were a couple of things that needed tending to, however Jean was only a phone call away and was excellent in ensuring we were well looked after and any little niggles were quickly fixed.

All in all a great place, and I would go back again if I had a large enough group.
