Luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom penthouse apartment with terrace and large private rooftop solarium, located on the stunning Roda Golf and Beach Resort. Property is furnished to very high specification, sleeps up to 6 people, is fitted with air conditioning and central heating throughout and has lift access. It also has a spacious shared pool and a private underground garage. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine, hob/oven, microwave, etc. Leading from the living room, the balcony overlooks the pool and golf course, while upstairs, the large rooftop terrace affords panoramic views of the area. Roda Golf Course, designed by Dave Thomas, and its excellent Club House are within easy walking distance of the apartment. The apartment is within 5 minutes drive of the town of Los Alcazares, where there are many shops, bars and restaurants. Nearest beach is 1.5 km from the resort. 2 adult bicycles available for use. Ideal for golfing, beach or family holiday.

Roda Golf and Beach Resort is a short drive from the beautiful capital city of Murcia with its restaurants, bars, shops and historic sites. Also nearby is Cartagena, with a wealth of historic and beautiful sites, such as the amphitheatre. Torrevieja and Alicante are also within easy reach. There are numerous large shopping malls in the area. Los Alcazares is a bustling resort with a huge array of shops, cafés and restaurants local markets and a palm lined promenade running alongside the beach. Roda Golf is a superb 18-hole par 72 golf course, the base for the European PGA Academy. The Club House is in a stunning location and serves high quality food and drinks, including local specialities. Costa Calida is famous for the Mar Menor, a large inland sea lagoon, the site of the exclusive Roda Golf Beach Club. It enjoys an average 320 days of sunshine per year and is recognised as the healthiest part of Spain, due to the therapeutic composition of the water and ideal for water sports.

Recommended, excellent apartment, lovely setting

This was the first time we have booked an apartment from somebody we don't know, so we were nervous. There was no need as we were met by the management company, who gave a warm welcome and info about the local area.

The apartment was very clean and tidy. There's a great roof top terrace to sunbathe and eat on and a seperate balcony that looks out over the pool. The balcony was the perfect place for breakfast and eating al fresco in the evening, or just star gazing over a few relaxing drinks. The apartment is spacious and has everything that you need and more. We had our 18 month old daughter with us and the owners kindly bought a cot especially for our stay.

The pool and gardens are great and the beaches nearby are clean with warm, shallow water which is perfect for children. You could hire 2 sunbeds and a shade for 6 euros, although we bought a shade and took beach towels. The beach is busy in the afternoon but its very long, so there was plenty of space.

There are lots of cafes and restaurants near the beach serving anything from snacks and tapas to 3 course meals. There are a couple of local supermarkets, which are similar to UK prices. Fresh fish, fruit and veg were cheaper than UK; branded goods more expensive but the local makes were fine. We only ate out on half of our ten nights but as mentioned, there are some good restaurants on the beach front and an excellent Plaza nearby that has a dozen or so eateries and bars with a great, relaxing atmosphere.

The golf is a bit pricey but it's a well kept course. All in all an excellent place for couples or families; we would have no hesitation about going back. We would recommend a car though.

We had a very enjoyable holiday in a beautifly appointed apartment. The owners were extremely helpful and responded very quickly to our enquiries. They provided lots of information about the area. We have stayed on Roda before and would certainly choose this apartment again. We were met on arrival by the property management who provided us with a warm welcome and was on hand, if needed, throughout our stay. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to others.

The owners are very friendly, trustable & accurate people. The info they provided us with about the area was very helpful Property was brand new, clean, furnished with taste, equipped with everything necessary for a pleasant stay.
Great customer service on site by the property management.
I've already recommended it to many friends.
Will be back next summer!
