Located on the top of a hill with great views of the valley and the perfect rural setting! The villa is located in the mid of Luxembourg's Valley of 7 Castles. Looking down over green fields, only the sound of birds wake you up in the morning. Only 20km away of Luxembourg city (historical sites and buildings and a vibrant night-life) -10 minutes drive from Belgium, 20 minutes drive from France and 30 minutes drive from Germany, - 20 minutes drive from Luxembourg- intl. airport, - 1 hour drive from Frankfurt Hahn airport, - 2 hours drive from Brussels, Strasbourg and Frankfurt. There are plenty of great restaurants around. The house is well equipped (washing matching and dryer; dish washer) It has a central heating system and an open wood fire. There's a closed garage available for you and additional parking space.

In this sense, and to make it easier to discover the former “Gibraltar of the North'. Luxembourg has also plenty of vineyards in the historical Moselle region. Out of this central location you can easily visit another country every day. Have breakfast in Luxembourg, visit Belgium in the morning, have lunch in France and have dinner in Germany, that's all possible. Luxembourg is situated in the hart of Europe and is a perfect basis for one day trips to major European cities and sites (Brussels, Frankfurt, Paris, Strasbourg Amsterdam are all only a couple of hours from our house)

We stayed at this charming house for six weeks in August/Sept 2009 with our family of four (incl. two kids 7 and 9 years old). The location of the house is quiet at the end of a dead end street, with great views of the meadows, cows and the surrounding forested hills. In the immediate vicinity you can enjoy walks, jog or bike. At 1,5 km there is a mini supermarket at a petrol station, where you can get fresh rolls and croissants, even on Sundays.
The house is very comfortable, nicely furnished and well equipped with good kitchen facilities, large bathroom, plenty storage room,satellite tv, etc. The garden, lovely terrace and stone bbq were used often and helped us to maintain a real holiday mood during our first weeks of settling into Luxembourg. Would recommend without reservations.

My husband and I stayed here with two ladies in their 80s and our 24 year-old son. We had a most enjoyable holiday. The house was very tastefully decorated and furnished, well equipped with top quality white goods and stocked with plenty of cleaning products, store cupboard essentials and things like cling film and tin foil. There is an enormous bathroom upstairs with two wash basins, as well as a toilet downstairs. The owners Peter and Krista kept in frequent contact by mobile phone to make sure everything was alright. They met us on our last day at the house and were good enough to send on some money we'd inadvertently left behind. The house is only 20 minutes from the outskirts of Luxembourg which enabled us to easily visit our older son who lives there. In addition, we had an open top bus tour one day and visited the spectacular museum of modern art another. We were a little worried about sleeping in a water bed, as we imagined water sloshing around when either of us turned over. It turned out be very comfortable, kept at a constant temperature and not noisy! The twin room was fine for the ladies, and sofa bed good for our son. Our only slight quibbles were that from the photo of the house, it appears to be set among fields, although it is actually at the end of a small, quiet cul de sac. The view of the fields was obscured by a tall hedge and there were quite a lot of flies coming into the house. Overall we had the freedom and comfort of home in a peaceful location within easy travelling distance of Luxembourg city. We'd recommend it to a friend.

A nice countryside Villa

The villa is situated in a clean and nice village near the city of Luxembourg. We liked our stay in the villa. The surroundings was lovely and it was easy to make one days cartrips to the vine areas of France and Germany or to pop into the monastery of Orval in Belgium. The house is well equipped. The only minor negative thing was the dogbark coming from a kennel a few hundred meters away.

First Visit to Europe

This was our first visit to Europe and it couldn't have been more perfect. Especially in finding a home in which to stay instead of a hotel. The furnishings were perfect and it was a relaxing atmosphere to be in at the end of a day. It gave us the perfect home base to drive from and enjoy the countryside and the City of Luxembourg. The hosts were kind and be sure to have them recommond where to buy fresh bread and pastries for breakfast . . . and I would return in heartbeat! I fell in love with Luxembourg!!!
