  • The master bedroom is on the ground floor with direct access to the garden. All double bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and two have balconies overlooking the countryside. The studio bedroom is self contained with its own sitting room and bathroom. There is also a double bed in the sitting room of this studio, in case guests would like to use this room as a 'twin'. As the studio rooms are interconnecting and share a bathroom, we count them as one double/twin room, not two rooms, but the bed space is enough for 4. All the double bedrooms are large, very quiet, have top quality linen, mostly from Designers Guild and The White Company, pillows and cushions and a selection of antique and painted furniture. There is hanging space and drawer space in each room. Quality towels are provided for each bathroom, as well as hairdryers.

the swimming pool: There is an indoor heated swimming pool at the property and it is available for guests to use exclusively for up to 2 hours a day, between the hours of 11am and 5pm. Of course we are happy to consider use outside these times, but the pool is part of the cottage accommodation and it is inevitably a disturbance to those in the cottage when the pool is in use. The pool is kept very warm, which is delightful in winter and it has a swim jet and jacuzzi which make it a fun place to be. If unlimited use of a pool is a major requirement of your holiday, we suggest you do not select this property. If you are happy to swim once or twice a day for an hour or so, then you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful cottage, wonderful owners. Best cottage we've been so far. We are 3 couples with young children spent weekend there for 2 nights. When we entered the house we were speechless, couldn’t believe we are doing to stay here.
So welcomy atmosphere, fresh air, every single stuff are tastefully decorated in the house, beautiful garden, high above our expectations. We were so sad to leave this place and definitely want to come back in few month times. It is difficult to deliver with words you need to see it!
Dear Penny & Tim, Thanks a lot for letting us to stay in your cottage. We had best weekend!

Lovely setting in a stunning home for our group of friends to relax and unwind! The facilities are excellent - spent quite a few hours in the cinema! Hoping to return!

Perfect English Country House

Beautiful house and gardens. Our party of 9 (mum, dad, four adult children and partners) stayed for a weekend at the end of July/beg August and all had a very enjoyable time in spite of less than perfect weather. The house is full of light and all rooms have wonderful views of the spectacular grounds. The cinema (it's like a real mini cinema!) and pool were very welcome when we had a full day of rain. I hope we have the opportunity to return to this house which is so perfect for a large family gathering or group of friends. My daughter said she didn't want the weekend to end.....

Wonderful home in fab location

We (a group of 11) stayed at Kidmore End for the weekend in June 09.
It is a beautiful, well appointed, well equipped and very welcoming family home; it would be very easy not to have to leave it for the whole weekend!

However it is within easy reach of Henley and we also enjoyed the surrounding countryside.

The house comes highly recommended - our expectations were definitely exceeded!
