Il Casale di Mele has been newly decorated and furnished. Complete living room furniture around antique fireplace. Flat screen TV/DVD Player, stereo. Large country kitchen with a high end gas cook top, convection wall oven, a microwave oven, as well as a large commercial sized refrigerator freezer. Next to kitchen is dining room complete with antique table which seats 8. Down the hall are two bedrooms, one with Queen bed, the other with two Twin beds. Two baths with both tubs, and enclosed showers are also next to the bedrooms. Laundry room with washer, iron, ironing board and hanger for drying. Upstairs is the master bedroom with Queen bed, walk-in closet, and full bath with tub and shower as well as a balcony that looks out to stunning Umbrian sunsets. Stone terrace outside of kitchen with table for 8 with barbecue. Large 3 level pool with surrounding terrace. Office has pull out couch to sleep an additional 1 adult. Large yard surrounded by olive trees.

Just a mile from Piedicolle, Il Casale di Mele is on the road to Collazzone. Just a few minutes drive from Colleppe where you can find a supermarket, butcher, bakery, and bar. Driving distances from Il Casale di Mele to some of Umbria’s famous hill towns as well as parts of Tuscany. Additional information about rental rates

  • Rentals will run from Saturday to Saturday. Please plan your arrival between 4pm to 7pm, and departure by 10am to allow cleaning before and after your stay. A home phone is provided and guests are responsible for any local and long distance calls incurred and such charges are due upon departure. Should there be any special requests (additional cleaning, shopping etc), these costs are also to be paid upon departure.
  • Cancellations must be made in writing and will be considered effective on the date received. If a reservation is cancelled more than 60 days prior to arrival, the charge is 25% of the rental fee. If a reservation is cancelled 59 days prior to arrival or less, the charge is 100% of the rental fee unless another renter can be found to cover your week. If another renter can be found you will be charged 25% of the rental fee to cover advertising.

    If one must cancel, there is a possibility to reserve Il Casale di Mele for a different arrival/departure date without penalty depending upon availability of the vacation home and owner discretion.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage, breakage and on-site expenses during occupancy. Upon arrival, guests must pay a EUR 500 security deposit in cash which will be returned in full upon departure minus charges for damage, breakage or on-site expenses. This fee also covers use of the TomTom GPS unit during your stay. You will be required to sign a release to use the TomTom for the week. If lost or stolen, it’s replacement cost will come out of your security deposit.

Location: Il Casale di mele is located between Todi and Perugia surrounded by lush rolling hills but with easy access to E45. In less than an hour you could visit many of Umbrian’s quaint hill towns such as Spello, Trevi, Todi or Assisi. In less than two hours from the Rome or Florence airports you can reach Il Casale di Mele and begin to enjoy your very own Umbrian adventure.

Country Living: Typical of country villas, there is no central air conditioning, however the thick stone walls and screened windows allow the villa to remain cool even during the hottest months of the year. The screened windows allow you to enjoy the fresh country air with scents of lavender, jasmine, and wild flowers wafting from room to room. Il Casale di Mele is completely fenced and upon entering it’s iron gates you come up the circular driveway surrounded by wild lavender, rosemary, and olive trees.

What else does Il Casale di Mele offer?: To introduce you to Umbria we will have a welcome gift basket waiting for you with some of our favourite Umbrian specialities nestled inside. To share our love of the local wine, we are also offering an Umbrian wine tasting by the pool accompanied by some delicious appetizers for a small per person fee.
