Unspoiled and amazingly unexplored, Poovar is a rare location find in Southern Kerala by the most tranquil backwaters and opening out to the Arabian sea and a dream golden sand beach. Poovar is truly a porthole into paradise. Time stopped a few decades ago, the calm is punctuated by the sound of waves and the birds the area is plentiful in well preserved local plants with hundreds of species of spices, exotic flowers, compliments with banana and coconut groves.The villa comes with daily maid service and a full time pool attendant/gardener. The Perfect Setting

My wife & I stayed for two weeks. This turned out to be the perfect setting for us in our busy lives. The villa was excellent and good value for money.
Extremely helpful owner. Ensured we had everything we needed and would definitely return there again. Beautiful large lake nearby and the sea views are excellent. Whole area was very nice with lots to see. Would recommend it to anyone.
