The apartment is located on a gentle scope with Mediterranean vegetation and is situated 1000 mt. from the beach and 1200 mt. from the center of the town Marina di Campo. In a nice applied complex of vacation “LA SERRA” in a quiet location full of marine pines, olive trees and flowers, the village contains houses with gardens and private parking, common front desk, tennis, bowls and a small playground for the children. The flat is modern furnished and has a veranda and garden, where you can have your meals inside or outside. In front of the village there is a small, but well-stocked supermarket. The village is far away from the noise and confusion of the centre, but it can easily be reached on foot or by bicycle. The apartment included air conditioner, 2 double rooms, living-room with two sofa-bed, television and DVD, kitchen with 4-ringed gas stove, fridge-freezer, oven, washing machine, toilet with box-shower, outside there is a granite table, chairs, shower with cold water.

Elba is the largest island in the Tuscan Archipelago, the third largest in Italy and the nearest to continental Europe. It is 5 miles off the coast of Tuscany and has an area of 100 square miles with a spectacular 70 mile long coastline. There is a good ferry service from Piombino or there is the faster hydrofoil or hydro jet. You can also arrive by air at La Pila airport, Marina di Campo, in a medium-sized aircraft from several Italian and European cities. Elba offers modern and well-equipped buildings there are also swimming pools, golf courses, sport facilities, riding stables, every kind of transport hire, trekking etc. The climate is always mild with an average annual temperature of about 16°; the average in winter is about 10°, 14° in spring, 23° in summer and 17° in autumn.

How to reach elba island: During the summer season car ferries leave from Piombino to Portoferraio almost hourly. There are also a couple of daily ferries for Porto Azzurro and Rio Marina. A hydrofoil service (no cars), which arrives only in Portoferraio and Cavo, takes 35 mins By train: the Piombino Marittima train station is 50 meters from the ferry departures
