Excellent Holiday Accomodation

We have just returned from a two week holiday staying at the property known as "Mayito", Le Orchidee. We were made to feel very much at home from the moment we arrived. Anotonio and Rosie were very friendly and excellent hosts, they were very helpful in giving advice on how to get to local supermarket, restaurants and beaches. Although we did not speak German or Italian we managed to understand each other most of the time! as both Rosie and Antonio had a little understanding of English. The location of the apartment is in a lovely rural setting and ideally placed to reach the beautiful Marinella Beach in about 5 mins by car, and on the door step of the Costa Smeralda for exploring the stunning coastline.
Things to note: Remember your Mosquito replient, they are in abundance!! or you can readily buy in the local supermarkets.
If you are booking through the UK web site Holiday Rentals, as of today (23/07/08) it does not mention that you will need to pay additional costs for your gas, water & electric on top of the weekly rental price quoted, however all facilities are metered. Also will need to leave a deposit when you arrive.
We would highly recommend Antonio and Rosie's accommodation and we would certainly stay at this apartment again, it was very clean and had good facilities in the kitchen, eg fridge freezer, washing machine, oven/hob and a good supply of kitchenware.
All in all a fantasic holiday destination in terms of beautiful location, weather & accommodation.
