The apartment is located ca. 300 m from the longest parkway in Albufeira (numerous shopping facilities). It has 2 bedrooms (with 2 single beds each) and a spacious living-dining room, with sunny balcony, and 2 further possibilities to sleep in. The kitchen is completely equipped and it also has a balcony. The historical center can be reached easily on foot, but we suggest you still renting a car, so that you can visit the fascinating beaches in the neighbouring area. (Note: Nowadays, the beaches of Algarve are some of the cleanest and most beautiful in Europe).

Albufeira (originally, the Arabic ‘Al-Buhera’, which means ‘The Castle by the Sea’), with its picturesque historical centre, is nowadays one of the most popular vacation resort of Algarve. In Albufeira, you can find beside the wonderful, numerous beach landscapes, many sport activities, an animated night life, an authentic regional culture with exceptional cuisine and diverse manufactures. Thanks to its central geographical position on the Algarve, it is a good starting point for discovering the hinterland, as well as the eastern and western Algarve. It will be difficult to choose from so many fascinating beaches.

Additional information about rental rates

  • In the rental rate, linen and towels, as well as electricity, water and gas are included. For guests who stay longer than a week, we change the linen and the towels. The rental rates apply to 2 Persons.
    Each extra person will pay 15 Euros per night. Children up to 15 pay 7 Euros per night.
    The final cleaning will be charged with 35 Euros for 2 Persons, 45 Euros for 3 Persons, or 55 Euros for 4-6 Pers.
  • The time for arrival and departure is flexible. When you book, you have to pay 100 Euros, which counts as cancellation fee, if you decide to cancel the booking 30 days before the planned arrival day. The rest of the rental rate needs to be transferred to our German bank account, 30 days before the beginning of your stay.

Erholung pur: Unterkunft, Strand, Kultur...

Die ansprechenden Bilder haben uns auf die Ferienwohnung aufmerksam gemacht – um es vorweg zu sagen: unsere Erwartungen wurden sogar übertroffen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist architektonisch geschmackvoll, die Ausstattung ausserordentlich gut – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders angenehm war der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin, die uns schon im Vorfeld viele Anregungen und Tipps zur Freizeitgestaltung gegeben hat.
Albufeira liegt mitten in der Algarve und ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für kulturelle Erkundungen. Wer sich lieber im klaren Wasser tummeln, fischen, segeln oder tauchen möchte kommt ebenfalls auf seine Kosten. Von der Wohnung kommt man gut zu Fuss an den Strand. Bei der Auswahl an schönen Stränden ist für jeden etwas dabei – mal belebt und gross, mal zurückgezogen und klein. Leider waren wir viel zu kurz in Albufeira (7 Tage) um die tollen Kneipen, Restaurants und das lebendige Nachtleben ausreichend geniessen zu können. Das nächste Mal bleiben wir länger!

Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass die Wohnung wirklich für alle Altersgruppen (ob Familien mit Kindern, Pärchen, Gruppen oder Rentner) geeignet ist, da man ruhig wohnt und einen phantastischen Ausblick vom Balkon hat aber trotzdem alles in greifbarer Nähe ist.

Organisatorisches: der Kontakt, die Buchung, Schlüsselübergabe durch die freundliche Putzfrau etc. liefen reibungslos ab
Persönlicher Tipp: unbedingt die in Deutschland lebende Vermieterin über besondere Orte und Besonderheiten der Region befragen...
Fazit: hier gibt es viel zu sehen und zu erleben, aber man findet auch Ruhe und Erholung vom Alltag.

We had a lovely time at Albufeira and found it accurate to its description from the holiday-rentals site. The property was clean and very homely. My husband and I made us feel very welcome and showed us where certain essentials such as where the Algarve shopping centre is, the property is close to some lovely beaches, shops and tourist sites. I would definately recommend this property to a family or friend. We went to the beach most nights as the marina was beautiful and the restaurants were of high quality, the beaches were lovely, very clean (blue flag). The appartment is such a short way from there and very easy to get to. We cooked some nights from 'home' and all the kitchen amenities all worked well. The appartment was excactily like in the webpages. Cleaning service very frienldly and the owner had any time for us . Many advice for restaurants and sightseeing. Overall great holiday. We would come back anytime!

Sehr nett, gepflegte und liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung, sehr freundliche Vermieterin, die uns tolle Insider-Tipps verraten hat, wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Herzlichen Dank!
Die Landsleute sehr nett, zugänglich und hilfsbereit, regionales Essen sehr lecker und relativ günstig (frische Fisch und Meeresfrüchte, hmm...) traumhafte Strände, viele Angebote für die Wasserportler, sehr interessantes Hinterland zu entdecken, viel Spass und gute Laune in Albufeira ! Das nächste Mal bleiben wir länger!!
Nur das öffentliche Verkehrsnetz müsste erweitert/verbessert werden.

Sehr sauber konnte man nicht gerade sagen,auf den
ersten Blick ja doch beim genauer hinsehen war manches
anders als sauber.Es war das erste mal dass wir in einer
Wohnung oder Haus nicht gekocht haben.Das Innenleben
der Küche eine Katastrophe!!. Das zweite Schlafzimmer
eher eine Besenkammer,keine Möglichkeit für Garderobe aufzubewahren.Von wegen ruhig ! Durch das gegenüber-
liegende Hotel, Lärmbelästigung morgens durch die Ent-
ladung der Versorgungs-LKW und abend spät durch deren
Abfallbeseitigung.Schimmel in der Waschmaschine und
Geschirrspüle funktionierte auch nicht.Fernseher nur
Portugiesische Programme.
