Idyllic escape in beautiful Spanish mountainside

The setting of this lovely cottage is truly idyllic. Waking up to the sound of goatbells and the glorious mountainous warm air was a daily reminder of what life is truly all about. There is plenty of countryside to explore from the front door. We took a lovely walk down the hillside, crossing a babbling stream and ended up having lunch in a lovely little family restaurant seemingly in the middle of nowhere. A short drive takes you to the local town, a little further to the beach where we enjoyed delicious fresh fish overlooking the sea. The house was clean and cosy and very comfortably furnished. We visited with our two girls and we all felt refreshed and so relaxed after our weeklong stay. We enjoyed trips into the mountains and local downriver kayaking. I didn't want to leave. A part of Spain we had never visited before but we will certainly be returning. Soon, I hope.

this was just the most perfect holiday home for getting away from it all. A lovely house set in the hills surrounded by stunning country-side. Ideal for walking. Very near beautiful little typical towns - great for visiting, drinking coffee and just taking in the atmosphere. Some bigger towns nearby too for more sightseeing, shopping, browsing. Extremely picturesque area. Great for food. Wonderful for romantic get-away and also for family holiday. Something for everyone.
