Mecajac is a little settlement on the edge of Cavtat perched on the edge of a cliff with glorious views to the open adriatic sea. The old town of Cavtat is situated at the south slopes of the peninsulas Rat and Sustjepan, in the immediate vicinity of Dubrovnik. It is today the tourist and cultural centre of Konavle, the southernmost region of Croatia.
The very pleasant climate, luxuriant vegetation and beautiful shores will invite you to leave all your stressful thoughts behind and refuel your energy.
Nice beaches stretch all the way to Cape Prahljevac. Cavtat is located on the main road (M2, E65). It is very well connected with major Croatian cities through Dubrovnik and Cilipi Airport, while local communications with the surroundings include ship and bus lines.
The Cavtat Summer (July - August) - with its concerts of harmony-singing groups, folk music groups and sports tournaments (water-polo) – represents the most central cultural event.
