Accommodations: House with 4 bedrooms and convertible bed(s), 2 bathrooms (with showers) and 2 separate WC. Noted architect-designed modern house in secluded hill-top location with spectacular views towards the Luberon is available for weekly rental for self catering holidays. The house is 3 km from the nearest village. Climate control in all rooms and mid-week cleaning service for stays of two weeks. It has a large kitchen/ dining room (seating for 10-12) and lounge. Its own private swimming pool and sun terrace with a gas-fired barbecue garden and chairs and tables with parasols for al-fresco dining. The area offers historic town and villages, wonderful walks though the limestone hills and green valleys and superb local cuisine. The picturesque and historic town of Gordes is within easy reach approximately 10 km away.

La Maison Solaire is situated in the beautiful Vaucluse/Luberon area of Provence, South Eastern France. The area is not far from the Swiss and Italian borders and the historic cities of Avignon (45mins drive) and Aix en Provence (60 mins drive) are nearby. It is a mountainous region with a Mediterranean climate, and green fertile valleys with steep sides and picturesque hilltop villages. Paths through the limestone hills lead walks amongst juniper, cypress, pine, oak and wild thyme. The secluded site commands superb views across valley of the Pay d’Apt to the mountains of the Luberon in the south and the historic villages of Gordes and Roussillon. A short drive north will take you to Mont Ventoux and the Drome. Recreational activities including walking, hot air ballooning, golf and fishing can all be found in the vicinity. There are many historic sites and points of cultural interest including studios of artists (potters and painters).

The third NW unit contains the kitchen/dining room and a master bedroom and ensuite bathroom and separate WC. All bedrooms have full climate control (air-conditioning/cooling and in winter heating). Window covering are blinds and external retractable fly screens. Room fans are also available. Full linen service provided. Duvet bed covers and at least two pillows per person.
