This is a wonderful flat for your stay in London. It is our second home and hope it will feel like yours too. Modern and purpose built, it looks spacious as soon as you enter your own front door. All on one easy level with solid wood floors, the 7 metre reception room has French windows leading out to a delightful garden. There are two large double bedrooms. We can provide a travel cot and other baby equipment too. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped and we leave materials for washing and cooking. There is television, radio and CD player and WiFi connection to high speed broadband. The flat is set back from the street with space for parking and a garden. The back garden is south facing, fully enclosed, with areas for sitting out and relaxing. Double glazing means that the flat is very quiet and central heating keeps it warm in winter.

Broadlands Avenue is a quiet residential street that leads off Streatham High Road, a main road leading straight into the centre of London. There are plenty of shops just round the corner; a cinema, restaurants and cafes, and a small Tesco supermarket for daily provisions. Streatham Hill Station is 3 minutes walk away and the train takes just 8 minutes into Victoria for visits to Buckingham Palace and the surrounding area. Many buses take you in 10 minutes to Brixton underground (Victoria line Zone 2). You can be in Oxford Street in 30 minutes, the British Museum and museums and art galleries. It is easy to enjoy a night out at a club or theatre in town and get home. If you are arriving at Gatwick you take the Gatwick Express to Victoria and then a 8 minute journey to Streatham Hill. Heathrow can be accessed by the underground, again at Victoria.

  • We are equally happy to accept British Sterling or Euros. A bank transfer must be made before arrival or payment in cash will be accepted on your arrival. A security deposit of £200 is also required upon arrival, to be returned to you on departure. A 25% deposit must be paid by bank transfer to secure your booking. This is non-refundable if your booking is canceled 4 weeks before your booked period so please check your travel insurance. The rental price includes cleaning.

You will be met personally at the property on your arrival. We can arrange pick up at the airport (Gatwick or Heathrow) at a cost of about £50 one way. Transport into central London is easy. There are several buses running to Brixton where you catch the underground. There is also a train station 3 minutes walk away also taking you directly into the centre. You can be at all major sights in half an hour. Returning in the evening is no problem. The area has all facilities, many restaurants, pubs and bars, a main cinema and parks. There is a small supermarket at the end of the road on the main thoroughfare.

Other Activities: 30 mins from all major sights of London. 1 min from restaurants, cinema, shops.

Hello,

I can say that the apartment corresponded to my expectations.
It’s quiet, and allowed me to enjoy great moments of rest, after long days of sightseeing.

In addition to being equipped with everything that I need for every day usage, I liked the fact that there is free internet.

About transport, I can share, that the proximity of the train station and bus stop, are value positive, when you think about renting this apartment, because we are minutes from center of town.

It should also be noted that all the details present at the announcement, match to what we can really found in the apartment.

I definitely recommend this apartment to my friends.

It's very quiet , and convenient for everywhere.

I stayed with my friend to watch Wimbledon, and sightseeing. It's easy to go many place. Also it has lovely backyard garden, we heard songs every morning. We sometimes ate out near the apartment, but mostly we ate in, we enjoyed a holiday atmosphere. Because it was nice apartment.

A great London Holiday

My two daughter's and I really enjoyed our stay in this remarkably clean and attractive home. Having a lovely private garden to sit in was so nice. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and quite convenient given it's location outside of the City centre. Plus, riding the bus, train and tube in London is always an interesting experience! I highly recommend the purchase of an Oyster Card to make transit travel easy and affordable.

The apartment's proximity to grocery stores, restaurants and transit was ideal. The personal assistance on arrival and the information and maps provided were very helpful. We look forward to returning!

This truely is a "Delightful Garden Flat"

We enjoyed your bright and sunny "Delightful Garden Flat" and felt right at home! Everything was clean and in order. This flat is so quite! The only sounds in the morning came from the open window...... birds singing and enjoying the garden. This flat is an easy walk to food markets and restaurants. Bus and tube connections are also close and easy to manage. The flat makes it easy to enjoy London sightseeing and then come back to a peaceful retreat away from the busy big city. We felt every bit of a "local" in no time at all. Thanks for being part of our very memorable English Holiday!

Paul, Debbie and daughter Hannah, rented flat for long weekend location to facilities and london transport links perfect, quality of flat and decor top quality the enclosed garden a haven of peace and a very useful 'extra room' that is a part of a home, the parking space an essential can not wait to book again.
