Pearl Lake Golf Course:
The golf course at Pearl Lake is a fully grown short course with three par 4's - one measuring 401 yards and the par 3's present a stiff challenge, too, with the shortest one at 151 yards and others at 242 yards, 237 yards and 234 yards. The course has natural challenges particularly the three hundred year old oak tree on the first fairway.
Pearl Lake Fishing:
Pearl Lake is the largest natural lake in Herefordshire. It originates from the ice age when it was formed from a melting glacier. The lake is spring fed from water off the surrounding hillsides and generally remains very clear with only a tint of colour appearing as the water warms up during the spring and summer. Large swan mussels frequent the lake bed and these provide a natural food source for the fish. There are 7 species of fish in Pearl Lake, Common, Mirror and Wild Carp, Tench, Roach, Pike, Perch, Golden Rudd & Bream.
