This modern, beautifully furnished apartment is located in a picturesque, landscaped complex in Balaia with only a short distance to Olhos D'Agua and Albufeira. It is within easy walking distance to three stunning beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. The complex has a large shared pool, a children pool and a private tennis court and is set in peaceful surroundings although not far from all facilities. This ground floor apartment is situated to one side of the complex and benefits from its own private lawn area which is a suntrap in the mornings and is a real advantage if you have young children. The decor is fresh and modern with an open plan lounge diner with TV, DVD & Playstation. The kitchen is well equipped and outside on the terrace is a BBQ for 'Al Fresco' dining! There are two bedrooms, the master suite has beds that can be made to twins or one king size and has an en suite bathroom. The other is a twin with a separate bathroom.

The situation of the complex gives you the best of all worlds! If you are looking for a smaller friendly resort, Olhos D'Agua is only 15 min walk (2 min drive) away with its friendly appeal and beautiful beach. In the opposite direction approx 25 min walk (5 min drive) you will find Albufeira / Praia D'Oura which is one of the more bustling larger resorts, with its amazing array of bars, restaurants and nightspots and with its beautiful old town. You also have a great selection of beaches on this amazing piece of coastline, Olhos D'Agua (15 mins walk), Maria Luisa (15 min walk), Santa Eulalia (20 min walk), All less than 5 min drive away. Some offer watersports for the energetic! You will never run out of restaurants, the closest selection only 5 min walk at the end of the road. Pine Cliffs and Balaia golf courses are very nearby (Balaia within walking distance!) Olhos D'Agua has all other facilities you may need such as banks, chemist, health centre, market & a taxi rank.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The apartment will be ready for your arrival at 3pm and check out time is 11am. Although we will of course do our best to be flexible with these where ever possible.

    For most months (excluding July & August) there is a minimum booking period of 4 days. If you do wish to book less than the minimum days of those booking periods, you can still book , but the 4 days or 1 week must be paid.

    A 25% deposit is required to reserve the apartment and the remaining 75% along with a £150 refundable breakages / damage deposit is due 4 weeks before your arrival. Failure to pay the balance before the 4 weeks will result in loosing the 25% deposit. You may wish to pay the whole balance and deposit at the time of reserving.
    Providing there are no damages / breakages, your £150 will be refunded to you on your return.
    Payment can be taken by bank transfer or cheque and your breakage deposit will be returned to you by cheque.
    You can also pay in Euros, price depending on the exchange rate.
  • A food pack can be provided for you, especially if you are arriving on a late flight and all shops will be closed. Price depends on what is required and for how many people and can be discussed at the time of booking.

    Airport transfers can also be provided for 1 - 6 people. If required, a price can be given.

Notes: One of the lounge sofas converts to a large sofa bed to sleep an extra two, however, for your comfort and space within the apartment, we do recommend this be used more for children. The pool area has one large main pool and a separate smaller pool for children. There is a travel cot and a highchair that can be provided free of charge but must be requested at the time of booking. Any extra cots and highchairs can be hired at a smaller additional cost. For those staying two weeks or more, towels and bed linen will be changed at the end of each week and your apartment will be cleaned. Tennis equipment is in the apartment.

We stayed in the apartment at the end of September 09, 2 adults and 1 2.5yr old. Clare the owner was there to greet us when we arrived and gave us a comprehensive tour of the amenities in the apartment and in the complex. The apartment had everything we needed for the week; included lots of "extras" that we didn't expect, such as a selection of DVD's, CD's, games, teabags, washing up liquid etc - a real home from home from the minute we arrived! Everything in the apartment was of a high standard and was spotlessly clean; the towels were lovely and fluffy! The apartment felt very secure with sturdy locks and automatic shutters on all the windows and the ground floor location meant we did not have to over worry about our 2yr olds safety. The pool area was well presented and clean too. The owner had provided a comprehensive "information book" which gave lots of information about the area and the algarve in general which was really useful. Our 2yr old adored the nearby beaches - playing under the rocks on Olhos D'Aqua beach in particular, and the local restaurants and cafes were relaxed and friendly. We also explored some of the nearby towns such as Loule, Vilamoura and Albuferia during the week - all of which had their own charm - a wonderful holiday and we definately plan on returning!

Relaxing break in ideal location!

Just returned from a week in the apartment. Height of season but still felt quiet - both around the small complex and out and about. Apartment had everything / mod cons - and bonus of sun all morning in the garden until lunchtime, then a 10 minute stroll to the nearby beach. Lots of great and good value restaurants nearby (fantastic fish reaturants, italian and great thai in Albufeira old town), 15 mins to Alhos D'Agua or just 20 mins to Albufeira. The owner (Clare) met us at the apartment on time and gave a very good overview of facilities, location and what we would find out and about. Also very good guide book and map provided. Definately recommended - so much so we'd go back anytime. Cleaner provided clean towels mid way through the week, Only two of use stayed, but having two bathrooms (and showers) was a real bouns. A/C available but apartment was cool during day and night - so not really needed. Oh, and the automatic shutters were a novelty but again kept the place cool.
