The famous Fiskardo 3 Km away. There are three beaches in the area. Driving time to Dafnoudi beach 10 minute drive, 15 minute walk. Embissi 10 minute Foki 15 minute. There is also the famous Myrtos beach which is 30 minute drive. Antipata has 2 restaurants and a mini-market. Manganos has 2 restaurants, mini-market and grocery shop. In Fiskardo you can find super-markets, bakery, post-office, ATM's, bars, restaurants. In Basilikades you find the pharmacy and the petrol station.The main airport is (EFL) Argostoli-Kefalonia 70 minute drive. From Fiskardo there are daily ferrys to Lefkas. From Sami there are daily ferrys to Patra and Astakos. From Pesada,(south of the island) daily ferry to Zakinthos. Car hire is recommended.

Notes: The main material of the interior is wood. On the ground floor you find a fully equipped kitchen with access to the wooden balcony, the main family bathroom with washing machine and the main living room. The wooden staircase leads you to the upper floor where you find the three bedrooms and a utility toilet. Two of the bedrooms have big roof windows for stargazing before you go to sleep and the other bedroom has a balcony facing the village. The swimming pool is sheltered by the surrounding forest giving you the privacy to relax and enjoy. Gas/electric cooker, fridge/freezer, lots of cooking utensils and pots and pans. Kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine provided. Open plan living room which is equipped with TV, Video, stereo and wired or Wi-Fi Internet access providing that you have your own laptop. Two triple and two double sofas. Tables and chairs to accommodate 12 people. Kitchen balcony with table and 6 chairs.

Our family had a fantastic time at Villa Christos. The location in the forest was idyllic, being secluded and quiet. The only sounds were the cicades and cow bells.
The house itself was very spacious and well furnished and we really appreciated the air conditioning. We enjoyed being in the garden which is very natural with the olive trees giving great shade. The pool was cooling especially during the hot afternoons.
Also, we found Christos the owner extremely helpful especially with advice about the area and where to go to eat. We enjoyed talking to him.
We would recommend the villa and location to anyone. It is a great place to stay.

The description of the villa was very accurate regarding the location (one of the nicest parts of Kefalonia), the layout and the facilities. (swimming pool, barbecue, free internet, TV, DVD and air conditioning) The house is beautiful (looks brand new) and the place quiet but not very far from Fiskardo which is full of life. A car is needed. Very good customer service (real "greek hospitality" that made us feel at home). We found everything we needed in the house (kitchen appliances etc).
There is a supermarket not far from the villa (10 minutes by car), some drugstores (which are a bit expensive) and nice restaurants. A lot of little beaches to visit (not sand) some of which are really breathtaking.
I surely would recommend this property to a friend.
Ideal for families with children (the kids loved the swimming pool) but also for young couples or groups of friends that want to combine relax and fun.

We had a really lovely time staying in Christos' villa. The house and pool are gorgeous and beautifully maintained. It is situated in a very quiet spot, ideal for those who want some peace, and good for children. We particularly enjoyed watching the sun set from one of the many balconies, while enjoying a cool glass of wine in the warm evenings. Antipata is a pretty little village with 2 small tavernas which do good food, and are easy to walk to from the villa. Fiskardo is only a short drive away, where for one of the days we hired a little boat and went and swam off some secluded beaches. We would love to return and would recommend the villa to those looking for an idyllic Greek holiday in Kefalonia.
