'Casa Arianna' is a comfortable, self-contained, 2nd floor, sunny mini-apartment sleeping 3 (1 king size bed and one single), comprising large bedroom, bathroom with shower and bidet etc. and little kitchen. The bedroom has French windows opening onto a balcony with a superb view of Monte Conero Bay with its miles of sandy beaches,which are only 5 min walk or by the free, beach shuttle, bus service. The little towns of Numana and its neighbor, Sirolo, are situated by MonteConero Bay offering fabulous beaches with plenty of establishments providing sunbeds and umbrellas, snacks, children games, pedalloes or there are the 'Bring you own Brolly' Free beaches. Enjoy the Summer Concerts in the Piazzas, the theatre, the famous Cathedral of Loreto, the Wine Road (visit the famous wine cellars in the vineyards of the area).A memorable experience is an evening aperitif in the little pavement cafes, before a delicious Italian meal in one of the Pizzerias or fish Restaurants under the stars.

The towns of Numana and Sirolo are situated on the Monte Conero Riviera, an Italian resort on the Adriatic sea.The actual mount is a preserved Nature Park. Whereas the Riviera is well known for its 40 km of beautiful coastline and white sandy beaches. The clear shallow waters are particularly suitable for children. Boat trips are available from the tourist port of Numana, to visit secluded beaches along the coast and sailing boats can be hired.The whole area is rich in history, art and Italian culture. There are ancient churches, castles and buildings with famous pictures by well known artists. Most sports are catered for, including riding, golf, diving, tennis, beach volley. The local restaurants out do each other in their specialties of local freshly caught fish. You can take the Wine Road, a special route where you can visit the famous vineyards of the region, tasting each product along the way and maybe purchasing a special wine to take home, to remind you of your stay in Italy

I can recommend this apartament for it´s location, it´s pretty, good furnished, it looks renovated a few years ago.There is a small terrace, from which is a nice view towards beach with small pebbles. It´s located on the hill, near the old center of Numana, where are many restaurants. We stayed there in second week of September, so some of restaurants were closed. Same situation was with beach bars and restaurants - the season in Italy ends last week of August, I think. The owners were very kind, Mr. Antonio speaks English, his wife not. It´s a pretty place to stay with partner for a romantic holiday, maybe not with child, because the owners live in the flat downstairs. It´s a start point for a trip to San Marino, Urbino, Perugia and in the neighbourhood are several nice beaches as in Portonovo.
I didn´t find any shop with food, the nearest is in Marcelli, it´s about 3 km, so it´s better to have a car there.

Just a couple of corrections regarding the review!
1) There is a grocer's shop just 100 yds from the apartment and others further down the road! You must have taken the opposite direction!
2) You mentioned a "small pebble beach" but forgot the miles of sandy beaches at walking distance, from the flat.
