The property is on a long sandy beach called Las Marinas with nearby cafes, restaurants and shops. Denia is a coastal city with 20 kilometer coastline, made of small, beautiful coves. To the North there are the sandy beach of Las Marinas. To the South is the Les Rotes beach with many coves to discover at the feet of the Montgo Mountain National park which can be seen from many km far whilst taking advantage of the wonderful walks. Also you will see cultural and historical sites of interest. The Old Town, with its Castle, narrow cobbled streets, Spanish monuments and historical culture, dates from the Roman times. The Port area is still a working fishing port and has many shops, cafe/bars and exquisite restaurants romantically set beside the edge of the sea offering a tranquil setting.

The Marina of Denia Nautic Club has a great offer of entertainment bars, restaurants and nightlife.

Golf: Within 25 minutes drive of the house is Javea Golf Club, situated between Moraira and Javea and is open all year round. The course is a 9 hole, par 72, and 3,035 metres. This is a relatively flat course to play. Other facilities include: driving range, putting green, heated swimming pool, club bar and restaurant. Both Javea and La Sella Clubs have tennis and squash courts. within a half hour drive North in Oliva, is the Oliva Nova Golf Club, designed by Seve Ballesteros. This testing 18 hole course is par 72 and 7,051 metres. The club has a shop, driving range, restaurant, swimming pool and fitness centre

For us the apartment was in a perfect location, at a quieter part of the beach but walking distance to the busier parts and their facilities. It is in a safe feeling group of well designed apartments around a nice pool, with a children's shallow pool as well, in a pretty garden and a lockable gate at the end of the garden opening directly onto the beach.

It is a spacious apartment on the ground floor. It was good to sit on the terrace, watching the children in the pool, listening to the sound of the waves. The other residents when we went were mainly Spanish and friendly.

There is a good restaurant next door and a supermarket and a pharmacy not far away. We had hired a car and could park inside the complex, so Denia at 4.5km away was easy to reach and it is a charming town. We also visited other towns and the aquapark near Valencia. For our 2 weeks the apartment felt like our home and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
