Situated on the banks of the River Douro, Casa da Figueira Velha is an exceptional property offering stunning views over the Douro Valley. The spacious house comprises the following: three en suite double bedrooms, a large kitchen, three living rooms and a dining room. We can add two extra beds to make the house sleep up to eight people. Outside there are two interior courtyards, a large beautiful garden with fruit trees and a swimming pool with terraced area overlooking the river. A 'Welcome Dinner' can be arranged in advance, with one weeks notice. Groceries can also be ordered ahead of your arrival.

Casa da Figueira Velha is situated on the banks of the River Douro occupying a unique position. It is located in the Douro Valley, famous for its vineyards, where grapes for many established port houses are grown. It is also a large vinho verde region, where the distinctive 'green wines' are cultivated. There are a selection of good quality restaurants close by, as well as vineyards that offer wine tasting. We are happy to advise you on places to suit your needs and tastes.
