Trevignano is a charming medieval village in the heart of Lake Bracciano’s National Natural Park. The lake's unpolluted waters are Rome's drinking water reservoir. By daytime Trevignano lazily lies on the lake shores, and wakes up at night to enjoy the local restaurants, pubs, cinemas and concerts. It is located at only 35 km from Rome and the Vatican, and enjoys a very privileged geographical position at the crossroads between Lazio, Tuscany and Umbria. The area offers plenty to see and plenty to do: the Art Museums and Archaeological Sites of Rome and the Vatican, Medieval Viterbo, Canale Monterrano and its Etruscan remains, Prince Odescalchi’s Palace, Caprarola and its stunning basilica, are but a few of the places one can discover and savour in and around the area. Furthermore, Trevignano offers innumerable sporting activities, and bulges with restaurants, pubs, pizza houses and open air cafés, renowned for their top Italian cuisine and wines.
