This beautifully decorated apartment is just a stone's throw from a lovely sheltered bay, and a few streets from the charming centre of Sao Martinho. The Silver Coast is famous for stunning sandy beaches and world-class waves, yet Sao Martinho has a picturesque sheltered beach that is perfect for families with children. The apartment building is new and modern, with a very lovely poolside garden area. It is on the south side of town, close to an excellent supermarket and next to a very quiet train station. Sleeps 6. 3 bedrooms with shared swimming pool, 2 large balconies, garden and underground secure parking. Close to shops, restaurants and train station.

The sheltered, sandy beach is approximately 200 metres away. It is unique for the Atlantic in that it is shallow and safe, with very small waves. Just 15km away is Nazare, a much wilder, more treacherous beach! 60 minutes drive north from Lisbon Portelo International Airport, along the A8. About 2 hours drive south from Porto and 2.5 hours drive north from Faro. Nazare 15km. Obidos 26km. Alcobaca 20km. Lisbon 110km. (Airport 82km). Caldas da Rainha 17km. Peniche 50km. Praia del Rei 43km. Sao Martinho is a small town, but there are ample facilities, including several shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and a bank.

Notes: A very large lounge/ diner with a 2 seater sofa and 3 easy chairs. There is TV/ DVD player and sound system with iPod docking. There is a long dining table and refectory-style benches. 2 large balconies, big enough for the whole family to sit out on. Towels and linen provided. There are some beach towels but best to bring your own. There is currently no housekeeper. Linen and towels to be washed by guests at the moment. As well as a large swimming pool there is a children play area with swings and slides etc.

Thanks very much for the use of the apartment, it's fantastic.
We had a great time and the area is beautiful, we thought the apartment was lovely, as is the pool and surroundings! Can't wait to go again....
