Le Savannah, near the bay of Miramar, makes a fantastic base to explore the beauty of the Cote D’azur. The beaches and restaurants of Theoule Sur Mer are just a 10-minute drive along the spectacular coastal road. Cannes is only 15 minutes away, and the cities of Nice and Monaco just a little further. A car is well worth hiring to explore this wonderfully unspoiled area. We recommend Hertz at Nice airport. The Cote D’azur or French Riviera is a region full of interest with its old inland villages and numerous coastal towns including the famous ones; Monte Carlo, Nice, Antibes, Cannes, Port Grimaud, Theoule sur le mer and St Tropez. Hypermarket GEANT at Mandelieu is 12km away, well worth a stop on the way from the airport to stock up. Then of course there is Cannes! The Tourist office (which has an internet café) is in Theoule. There is always something going on between May and September so pop in and find out. Doctors and dentists are also in Theoule.

Le Savannah sits on the foothills of the breathtaking L’Esterel Mountain. In Miramar bay itself there are facilities for sailing, scuba diving, water skiing and windsurfing as well as its many restaurants and bars. Take a short drive up to the mountain to the town of Grasse and the unspoilt hilltop villages of St Paul de Vence, Mougins, Lac de St Cassien, Montauroux, Callian and Tourettes also Fayence, famous for its terracotta, also Grasse, famous for the production of perfumes is only a little way inland and provides an amazing spectacle when all the lavender fields are in bloom. Travelling west along the winding coast road, made famous in many a film, you will soon be in St Raphael, then Frejus and St Maxime and a little further the trendy fishing village and home of the stars, St Tropez.

The Tourist office (which has an internet café) is in Theoule. There is always something going on between May and September so pop in and find out. Doctors and dentists are also in Theoule. There are a couple of smaller supermarkets in Theoule. A great boulangerie in the square. Cash point and post office also in Theoule. Banks are in Mandelieu 12 Kms away. A massive market along the seafront in St Raphael on Sundays and a small one in Miramar on Sunday mornings.

Ski: The Southern Alps resorts of Auron & Isola are only 90mins drive away.

Golf: Golf Bastide du Roi.

The appartment is exactly like to pictures in this advertisement, maybe even better. The apartment is very luxurious (airco in the living room and airco in both bedrooms, satellite tv, SMEG refrigerator) and everything was very clean when we arrived. Definitely recommended!

This is a lovely two floor apartment with a stylish interior and good sized paved garden. It has good sized bedrooms and the full width balcony has been converted into a dressing area with lots of storage. Aircon in the bedrooms and open plan lounge / kitchen manage to keep the heat at bay. The kitchen is well equipped with just about everything you could wish for - except perhaps a dishwasher! The garden is fairly secluded with good patio table and lovely lighting for the evening. The shared pool area is a 30 second stroll away. UK satellite TV is available.

The apartment is located in a gated residence of about 50 other apartments. This is all very quiet with seemingly few other apartments rented out.

The drive along the coast road to the apartment is very scenic reached in about 45 mins drive from Nice airport.

Overall it was a good experience living in this apartment. Would definitely stay here again.

Une très jolie maison bien située dans une résidence agréable (pas loin de la piscine) et très calme. Pas très fonctionnelle par certains aspects (chambres petites, orientation plein est sans store, pas de lave vaisselle) mais meublée avec gout (ce qui est rare pour la plupart des locations estivales) et disposant d'une terrasse extérieure bienvenue. A noter : des lits très confortables !
Un très agréable séjour à un prix tout à fait compétitif par rapport au marché locatif ambiant. A déconseiller avec jeunes enfants (escaliers, coins de meubles...). Voiture indispensable.
