A spacious house near Aix en Provence, with a charming view of the Mont St.Victoire. Set in a beautiful and open surroundings with nice pool surrounded by fruit and olive trees. Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed on a roomy covered terrace. The house is on a 6,800 sq.meters property. It offers plenty of parking and garden space. Being so close to Aix en Provence gives the opportunity to enjoy the many features, like Opera, theatre, museums, shops, and, above all the very fine restaurants, this cosmopolitan city offers. Golf courses are near the house and in a forty minute car ride you will be at the Mediterranean Sea, e.g. Cassis. For the sport minded amongst you; biking, hiking, walking, and others, in about ten minutes from the house.

The village of Trets is situated 45 minutes from Marseille, airport and TGV (fast international train). It is in between the Mt. St. Victoire, which the house overlooks, and Aix-en-Provence only a 30 minute drive away. The Mt. St. Victoire is great for hiking! Aix-en-Provence is a beautiful old provincial city which has a grand theatre, opera house, numerous restaurants, and great shopping. The famous painter Cezanne, who painted several paintings of the Mt. St. Victoire, came from Aix-en-Provence. Only a few minutes from the house is an 18-hole golf course and several more courses in the area. Cassis, a 45 minute drive from the house, is a small charming little village on the Mediterranean sea. The famous Les Callangues the highest cliffs in Europe, run along along the ocean side and are perfect for day long hikes. This beautiful area has plenty to offer and so has the house decorated with antiques and a swimming pool.

  • Excluded from the rental rate are the following:
    - a mandatory additional charge of 40 euro's per week mid week cleaning
    - an 1x additional charge of 150 euro's for final cleaning and rental and washing of bed linens, and all towels.
    - water and electricity which will be calculated by a meter reading and deducted from your deposit.

    There is a security deposit of 1,000 euro's is requested at reservation + 50% of the weekly rate. The security deposit will be returned after the house has been inspected and all costs have been paid.
  • Last minute reservations are negotiable depending on availability!!

Notes: The kitchen is very large, has a table for dining and a tv. There is a professional stove with 2 ovens for the real cook in the family! It has access to one of the terraces. The living room and dining room have access to the larger part of the terrace. The terrace has a table which seats 8 people spaciously. To protect you from the sun, you have the choice to open or close the awning electronically. The kitchen terrace has its own small seating area. The T.V. room overlooks the garden, swimming pool and living room. It includes a sofa bed a very large plasma tv + dvd player. The room is beautifully decorated with a library and stereo installation.
