This high specification apartment has been professionally furnished to provide the utmost comfort & relaxation & caters for guests' every need. It has a balcony with table & chairs to enable you to dine al fresco, is fully air conditioned, has a large, airy, tastefully furnished lounge/diner equipped with sofa, double sofa bed, 32in flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo, dining room table & chairs. Tastefully furnished bedrooms: 1 with double bed the other with 2 single beds. Fitted wardrobes throughout. Both bedrooms have air conditioning & french doors leading to a balcony with views of the pool. Separate modern bathroom with jacuzzi bath/shower. São Martinho do Porto, a small traditional Portuguese fishing town, sits on the edge of a spectacular bay and is protected from the Atlantic so is perfect for families & ideal for windsurfing & sailing. The beach is considered to be one of the top 10 in Portugal. The bay is surrounded by a wide range of cafes, bars & restaurants with amazing views. There is a supermarket, shops & a regular fish & vegetable markets. This idyllic town has loads of character & much of the older historic parts still have cobbled streets. There are 5 golf courses within a 15-20 min drive, including the Praia d'el Rey championship course - one of the best in Europe. Highlights of the local area include dinosaur trail; Island of Berlenga (with jagged coastline & bird sanctuary); Obidos (walled medieval town); Nazare (beach resort); monastery at Alcobaca; beautiful beaches backed by pine forests; spectacular underground caves of Grutas de Mira de Aire. The beautiful city of Lisbon is just 1 hour away.

Great apartment!

A group of 4 of us spent a most enjoyable week in this gorgeous apartment! The apartment itself was spacious and spotless - we didn't want to leave when it came to Saturday! The pool was lovely and we also got some time to demonstrate our skill (or lack of) on the tennis court! The selection of DVD's provided was great too! Sao Martinho do Porto is really nice and the main promenade is only an easy 10 minute walk. The restaurants were really good and such great value, although a few were closed as it was late in the season (end of September/beginning of October). There are plenty nice surrounding towns including Nazare which is only about a 20 minute drive. We would highly recommend a day in Nazare as it has some gorgeous restaurants and is nice for browsing around and for soaking up some sun! We also did a day trip to Fatima which was just over an hour away.

All in all we had a lovely week in Sao Martinho and would definitely recommend this apartment! Enjoy!

This is an excellent apartment in showroom like condition ideally located 10minutes walk from the beach.
My wife and 3 kids have just returned from this lovely apartment located in an area of Portugal with numerous attractions. We really enjoyed this unspoilt part of Portugal and coming back to a luxurious comfortable apartment crowned an excellent holiday that we would whole heartedly recommend to everyone-simply put we will be back!

Great two Bedroom Apartment

It was fantastic two bedroom apartment that comfortabley slept 5 adults with a double sofa-bed. The furniture and furishings are all new and of good quality. It was great to have a large dining table to eat from but most nights the five of us squeezed on to the balcony to eat and drink. We had a car but walked to the supermarket and beach on almost every occasion. The apartment pool and tennis court were also fantastic and we made good use of both. The apartments location to several sightseeing towns, beaches and golf courses is ideal if you have a car. It was also an easy one hour drive from Lisbon were we flew in and a relaxing two and a bit drive from Porto were we flew out. The location therefore allows for great sighseeing opportunities of these two great cities. The owner were extremely helpful as were the property managers who met and assisted us during our stay.

O apartamento é excelente, com todas as condições para umas ferias relaxantes. A sensação de que está longe do centro e da praia é apenas ilusoria e assim que começamos a caminhar percebemos que conseguimos "juntar o util ao agradavel" fazendo exercicio fisico sem qualquer esforço. São cerca de 7minutos a pé até á praia... por ruas planas. O condominio é agradavel, aparentemente seguro, a piscina refrescante e uma boa alternativa á praia nos dias em que o Sol teima em pregar partidas, e o court de tenis agradavel para a pratica do desposto. Recomendo e sugiro este local. Quanto ao preço, atendendo ás condiçoes do apartamento é justo. Relativamente aos proprietarios - simpaticos, cumpridores de prazos, interessados, e honestos.
Sugiro que experimentem - irão passar umas optimas ferias neste apartamento em S. Martinho do Porto.

Stunning apartment!

We were only able to stop at this apartment for a long weekend and had never been to this area of Portugal before so did not know what to expect. We arrived in the evening so couldn't see much of the surrounding area but the apartment was a lovely surprise, it is stunning. It's extremely spacious and of a very high quality. There wasn't anything we were short of, everything was catered for.
All the information provided was very helpful and we can't wait to return for longer next time to explore the area.
