Beautifully furnished villa in quiet area. Full central heating throughout. Two large lounges- one with comfortable couches and log burning fire and the other with satellite TV and small library. Large open plan fully fitted kitchen and dining area with seating for 10. 4 Large airy bedrooms, 3 with balconies. Two with double bed and two with twin beds plus a nursery complete with cot and high chair. One of the bedrooms is downstairs with adjoining bathroom and would be suitable for elderly or incapacitated guests. Large sunny patio area with gazebo and two outdoor dining areas and barbeque. Private pool 9m x 4.5m, depth 1m to 1.8m. with steps for easy entry. Loungers, mattresses and umbrellas supplied. Secure parking for two cars in front garden plus additional parking at rare cul-de-sac.

Located in a quiet development between the town of Caldas Da Rainha and the beautiful beach of Foz de Arelho close to Obidos lagoon. Caldas Da Rainha is an old spa town and has a very good variety of shops and supermarkets. Foz de Arelho is famous for all kinds of water sports and had safe bathing in the lagoon area. The old walled town of Obidos is a world heritage site within 15 minutes drive and has an excellent variety of bars and restaurants and numerous local festivals There are three top class golf courses within 20 minutes including one of the top 100 courses worldwide - Praia Del Ray. Further afield are numerous beaches and resort areas. Lisbon is an hour away by car or local bus and the shrine of Fatima can also be reached within and hour by car.

My wife and I and our four young children (aged 9, 8, 4 and 2) had a wonderful time in this great house which is in a great location Almost anywhere is within half an hour drive so a car is essential.

We could easily access three wonderful beaches, of which Foz was our favourite, and numerous places of interest like Fatima and Obidos. We attended a Medieval Banquet in Obidos which was one of the highlights of our vacation.

The house is very well equipped and well maintained
Very clean, secure, modern and we had loads of room. The pool is a good size and is perfect for younger children as it has steps. We had many great evenings around the barbeque. There were numerous seating options depending on whether you wanted to be in the shade or in the sun. Lots of sun beds too!

Lots of good quality, reasonably priced restaurants nearby.

Dealing with the owners was a joy as was dealing with their local property managers - Alison & Charlie who were very attentive.

Highly recommended.
