Jalon holiday villa

It took less than an hour to drive from Alicante airport to the Jalon Valley. The villa is perched high on a hillside and the road up to it is quite steep, particularly at the top. However, this Villa is AT the top and therefore not overlooked giving total privacy as well as spectacular views across the whole Jalon Valley.
The Villa is large, clean and very comfortable. One of the 3 double bedrooms was en-suite and there was a 2nd bathroom across the hall from the others. Although we spent much of the time soaking up the sunshine on the terrace or by the pool we did watch some SKY sports cooling down on the leather sofas in the huge lounge/dining room.
There is plenty to do in the area but a car is essential, even for going into the village to buy provisions. We ate at a couple of excellent local restaurants and to stock up the villa for eating in, bought drinks, fresh meat and seafood from a large Masymas supermarket.
We visited Moraira and Javea, two lovely seaside resorts that were a short drive away, and also spent a fun day at the 'Terra Mittica' Theme Park.
From playing cards on the patio to cooking prawns on the BBQ we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Jalon Villa and are happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a private and peaceful villa set in a beautiful part of the Spanish mainland.
