A renovated stone farmhouse with six bedrooms and a separate two-bedroom guest cottage set in over 2 acres of private grounds near the village of Le Bar-sur-Loup on the Cote d'Azur. Ideal for family holiday rental, the property can accommodate up to 17 people comfortably. Spacious living areas open onto wide terraces, two BBQ areas, outdoor and indoor dining tables, large private swimming pool, children's playground and playing field and beautiful gardens planted with cypress, olives, oleander and palms. The setting is spectacular. Above rise the mountains with the medieval village of Le Bar-sur-Loup perched on the hillside. Nearby are the historic South of France towns of Valbonne, Grasse, Venice and Nice. To the south the lively towns of Cannes and Antibes and the beaches of the Cote d'Azur. And in the background, the peaceful murmur of the river - ideal for a relaxing family villa holiday amid the beautiful natural scenery of the South of France.

The property is located down a peaceful country lane which runs reside the River Loup, it's just a couple of minutes by car (1.5km) from the picturesque village of Le Bar-sur-Loup with its local shops and good selection of restaurants – whether for a light lunch or celebratory dinner, pizza or gourmet cuisine. The larger shopping area of Chateauneuf is about 8 minutes away and it's 15 minutes to the lively market town of Valbonne and Mougins and the historic centres of Grasse and Vence. Cannes, Antibes and the coast are just half an hour's drive away and it's 25km to Nice Cote’Azur Airport. Set in some of the most spectacular countryside of the Cote d'Azur, surrounded by the mountains of the gorge with breathtaking views over the perched hilltop villages of Le Bar and Gourdon. Activities are on the doorstep – golf, tennis, horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding, go-karting, and in winter skiing at the nearby slopes of Greolieres (about 30 mins).
