Situated close to Margam Castle and Margam Park, it is also within easy driving distance of the Afan Argoed Forestry Park, (rated in top ten of the world for mountain bike rides). Many activities are available in the surrounding areas such as golfing, quad biking, paint balling and archery. Also close by is Kenfig Nature Reserve. Just opposite the property is Lakeside golf club and Priory Restaurant.Spacious living/dining-room with gas ‘wood burner’ and wooden floor. Two steps to large farmhouse-style kitchen with range (for cooking) and slate floor. Sun room with French doors to garden. Twin-bedded room. Near Royal Porthcawl and Pyle and Kenfig golf Courses. 40mins and within EASY ACCESS TO 2010 RYDER CUP in Celtic manor, Newport. within easy driving distance of the Afan Argoed Forestry Park, (rated in top ten of the world for mountain bike rides). Many activities are available in the surrounding areas such as golfing, quad biking, paint balling and archery. Dan yr Ogof’s famous showcaves, which also offer wedding ceremonies, and combined Dinosaur Park and Craig y Nos Country Park are great day trips. Also close by is Kenfig Nature Reserve. Slightly further north are the Brecon Beacons with their fabulous scenery and walking. To the west is the breathtaking Gower Peninsula.
