The resort of Peraleja has a unique location - only 15 minutes from the Mar Menor, yet less than 30 minutes from the centre of Murcia City. San Javier, Murcia Airport ,with its array of Low Cost Flights from all over the UK and Europe, is only 20 minutes away - a real plus when wanting the minimum of effort to travel to your destination, with Alicante just 45minutes away also. New motorways recently constructed ensure the region is well linked to all the major areas, towns & cities. The small town of Sucina is just 2 kilometres away. The town is fast growing and recently added an Indian restaurant and fish and chip and pizza takeaway alongside its fine Spanish eateries and bars. The town has 3 supermarkets and all the shops needed and is less than 10 minutes from Peraleja. An equestrian centre is ready in Summer 2009 and other amenities of fishing and sailing are close by. The city of Murcia with its wonderful history and architecture is less than 30 mins away.

In the winter take the chill of your feet with again individual heating in every area of the villa.

Both bedrooms are well ventilated and Air Conditioned for a nice break from the wonderful Murcian sun. The wardrobes have built-in drawers for more storage space. The tiled floor also enables the bedrooms to remain cool whilst in the Winter, the comfort of central heating exists if the open log fire is not enough to to take the chill off the air at night.

How To Get There: There is an excellent choice of Low Cost Flights from the majority of UK Airports to both Murcia Airport(San Javier) 20km to Peraleja Golf Resort, and Alicante Airport, 60km to the resort, both airports have excellent motorway network links ton practically straight runs. New road links are proposed for a new International airport at Corverra, which will be positioned between the existing airports of San Javier and Alicante, some 20km from the villa. ROUTE FROM MURCIA AIRPORT TO PERALEJA GOLF RESORT- leave airport and come to roundabout - go straight ahead at roundabout onto AP-7 heading for Alicante/San Javier. Pass exits for Balsicas/Murcia and take next exit for Sucina (tight bend on exit). Follow straight road for 10 kms to Sucina. Pass through Sucina until see left turn signed for Peraleja Golf. DIRECTIONS TO VILLA WILL BE PROVIDED AFTER CONFIRMED BOOKING.

Some will charge in advance for the full tank of petrol and ask if you want additional tyre and windscreen insurance, others will expect you to bring back the car with a full tank. The above rental agents are fair operators and their cars well maintained. * HANDY TIP at Murcia Airport Because the airport is not on a grand scale and the rental agents close to the reclaim baggage area - One of the party wait for the luggage whilst the 'Driver' goes straight to the car rental window and collects the car, that way you will have minimum delays in getting your holiday off to a flying start and DON'T FORGET DRIVING LICENCE!!!

Holiday in Peraleja

I came here with my partner for one week and we were extremely happy with the villa and its facilities. The villa itself was very modern, clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay including a washing machine and TV and DVD player. The pool was very clean and a good size and the patio/ garden area was ideal for sunbathing. We had a lovely view of the golf course with horses in the paddock opposite and overall the complex was very peaceful. The local town, which has several shops and bars,including an English supermarket is only a 5 minute drive away, although I would recommend hiring a car.
Owner's Response: We are so glad Claire and her partner enjoyed their stay at the peraleja golf resort.They are so right in saying the villa has lovely views over the golf course and the horses in their paddock.Their coments on the shops in the local village ring true as well in that they stock everything you will need to continue having such a wonderfull holiday.

Very relaxing with all mod cons

Spent a very relaxing 5 days at Steve & Ros' villa in late Sept 09. Despite the terrible weather when we arrived, we chilled out in no time thanks to the lovely accomodation and beautiful setting. The property was clean and as shiny and new as the pictures on this site.

We ate at the clubhouse and the food was ok, although the desserts were delicious. It is quite remote resort so we only ventured out for supper one other evening so we used the kitchen facilities alot and were perfectly adequate.

A guest book in the villa would be handy so guests and the owner can share suggestions for restaurants or places of interest. We looked through some of the leaflets that were there but weren't able to tell the quality. Personal experiences of restaurants are always good to know!

My only complaint is the cost of the cleaning charge which does seem quite excessive. If it included a meet and greet then it would be more reasonable, but as it is, we felt it was beyond what we would expect to have paid.

I would recommend the villa to others and would consider returning, but would be mindful of the cleaning charge.

An all round great stay!

This villa was an ideal place for me and my friends to enjoy a relaxing five day retreat in Murcia. The villa is equipped with everything you could possibly need and has breathtaking views over the Peraleja golf course. Local amenities were a mere 5mins away and the local town, Sucina is a great place to kick back and relax with a flury of bars and restaurants making it a vibrant area to spend an evening. The Villa itself is very modern, with a flat screen TV, DVD player and washing machine and the outside area has a BBQ which was great when we wanted a night in. The swimming pool was also a great feature and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this villa to any of my friends and family. I have already made another booking for next year!

Gorgeous modern villa

The pictures don't do this villa justice, it's amazing, very nicely furnished, well laid out, with everything you will need. Nice pool, overlooking the golf course so it's the perfect places to spend nights and days.
The owners are great to deal with too - quick, helpful and friendly communication.

The location is a bit remote, so a car would be helpful - but if you don't mind long walks you can easily manage without a car.

I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Regarding the location of Peraleja golf resort, you would be advised to hire a car for ease of getting around. The local village is only a 5 minute drive away, and it has many bars,restaurants and shops.As Ian did say you could get to the village if you enjoy a leisurely walk .If you want a peaceful setting close to the local village and only a 15 minute drive to the beach then this is the place for you.
