This is an executive penthouse apartment with 3 double bedrooms (1 en-suite), a large open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen leading on to a substantial balcony with Barbeque overlooking the Edinburgh skyline, including the castle. It is close to the city centre (10 mins), and is round the corner from the Shore, one of the prettiest and most cosmopolitan parts of Edinburgh, containing many of the best restaurants and pubs in the city. It gets the sun well into the evening in the summer and is just as attractive at night when the city is lit up. There is ample free parking around the flat, which can be used as a base for a visit to Edinburgh and for trips around the surrounding coastline. 5 minutes away is Ocean Terminal, one of the largest shopping centres and tourist attractions in Edinburgh, overlooking the Forth and home to the former Royal yacht, Britannia, berthed there. The flat is ideal for groups or families wishing to spend a luxurious holiday in and around Edinburgh.

Golf facilities: Edinburgh and the surrounding area has some of the finest golf courses in the world, such as Muirfield, St Andrews, Carnoustie, Gullane and Loch Lomond. All of these are within a 1 - 2 hour trip from the flat. There are also many local non championship courses which are open to visitors.

Pubs and restaurants: The flat is 2 minutes walk from the Shore which is one of the prettiest and most vibrant parts of Edinburgh. It stands on the Water of Leith waterfront and contains many historic buildings dating back several hundred years. Some of the city's finest restaurants (Wisharts, The Kitchen, The Vintners Rooms, Fishers and Skippers) are located there, as are many less expensive eateries suitable for children and less formal occasions, eg Pizza Hut, Chinese, Indian and Mongolian restaurants and carry out Italian and fish restaurants. In addition, there are many fine pubs, often with live music and serving the country's finest beers. Last but not least, the Scotch Malt Whisky Society have a large premise there called The Vaults, where many whiskies are consumed with relish by experts and novices alike. The waterfront itself is often full of people drinking and eating outside the pubs and restaurants, giving it a very sociable and cosmopolitan atmosphere that is unmatched in the city.
