Described by Dylan Thomas as the loveliest village in England, Mousehole is an idyllic place for a holiday. Loon Bennett, is just 100m from the bustling harbour with its' sandy and safe beaches for children. Or pass time by watching the fishermen attend to their boats. Mousehole has a general store/newsagent, a traditional Cornish pub, renowned restaurants 2 Fore Street and the Cornish Range and a number of cafes, ice cream & gift shops and galleries.
Mousehole is close to beautiful spots such as St Michaels Mount, Porthcurno & the Minack Theatre, Lamorna Cove, Lands End, St Ives and the South West Coast Path. Truro with its' great shopping and majestic cathedral, and Falmouth home of the National Maritime Museum make fun day trips. That said, there is so much to do in Mousehole that many visitors simply stay put!
Penzance (3 miles) and Newlyn (2 miles) are easy, flat walks or take the frequent bus service for further shopping and sightseeing.
