Casa Catarina is situated in the prestigious development of Areias dos Moinhos. Close to the village it overlooks the private swimming pool which it shares with the other 21 townhouses. Built on a hillside it has lovely views over a green valley to the sea. The accommodation comprises, on the upper floor, a large entrance hall, with shower room off. A living/dining room, with TV, Video, CD player and air conditioning. This room leads on to a partially covered outside terrace complete with umbrellas and patio furniture. The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and a table top dishwasher. The lower floor has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and there is also a small single bedroom suitable for a child. The main bathroom is also on this floor. All bedrooms have ceiling fans. Cots and high chairs are available. There is a roof terrace which is ideal for BBQ or for dedicated sun worship!

Just 15 minutes walk into the centre of the village of Carvoeiro with its many shops, bars and restaurants. Carvoeiro itself has a beach which is located off the main square. This can be busy during peak periods but there are also other beaches close by. Centianes beach is approximately 15 minutes walk from the house. Alfanzina, Benegil, Marinha are within 10 to 15 minutes by car or taxi. There are many lovely walks along the cliffs. For the children there are 2 water parks, Slide and Splash, in Lagoa, being the closest and Aqualand is 20 minutes drive along the N 125. A visit to Zoo Marine is also a 'must' with its famous dolphin show. Here you can spend an entire day looking around the many attractions. You can also interact with the dolphins should you wish. Prior booking for this is essential to avoid disappointment. All three of these attractions provide transport if required. For the golfers, you are spoiled for choice. Too many courses to mention here!
