Antibes holiday apartment

Described as central, this apartment was very centrally positioned unfortunately though in the middle of a traffic island with its constant flow of traffic on each of its three sides. The noise was overwhelming and somewhat tiring only relenting for a couple of hours between 3 -5am each morning.
We were fortunate to have great weather during our stay which left us with the open window dilemma of either not being able to hear each other talk or melting in the heat. (Air Con needs to be considered).
The apartment was clean and tidy. The facilities and utensils within the apartment were good although there was no workspace to prepare even a simple sandwich without it becoming a military operation.
While we were there the international satellite tv did not work which was disappointing. It would have been helpful to keep my children occupied while getting ready to go out for the evening.
Be aware hot or warm water was an issue for three nights. After a couple of the family taking showers we were left with no heated water until the next morning.
I found the apartments agent Sally to be extremely pleasant, helpful and keen to cater our needs but unfortunately the issues we had raised were beyond her control to rectify.
If you are a heavy sleeper with no children and enjoy a daily saunter and a nightly sauna then this apartment is probably right for you. 200metres from Antibes railway station and 500 metres from the towns square it is convenient.
Please ignore the photo of the marina in the advert. The views from the apartment are not so inspiring. Casino supermarket one side, the railway track and park on another and an opticians and empty shop on the third. The marina is 300 metres away obscured by buildings.
