The apartment is in the exclusive Marina development at Alcaidesa with beautifully landscaped gardens, 4 swimming pools and a few min walk to 3-mile sandy beach with an EU blue flag award. It is surrounded by the famous links golf course. Alcaidesa has a charming village square with a bar, restaurant and shop. There are several other restaurants including a beach bar and restaurant. The golf club new in 2007 has a restaurant, shop and an excellent driving range and practice facilities.It is the only golf development in Costa del Sol which is sea-side of the busy main road which runs along the coast in Spain. There is no through traffic making it pleasant walking to either the beach or golf club The apartment has a private south facing patio with views of the rock of Gibraltar and is set in beautifully landscaped gardens with a lawn in front of the property. Alcaidesa is situated on the West end of Costa del Sol between the beautiful marinas at Sotogrande and Gibraltar. Duquesa, Estep.

GIBRALTAR (15 min drive) is a must for visitors. Explore the vast network of WW 2 tunnels in the rock and watch the famous apes. Excellent duty free shopping and very good restaurants. Boat trips to see dolphins (and sometimes whales). SOTOGRANDE (10 min drive) Famous for its polo fields (instruction in the sport available) and a fabulous marina complex with restaurants, shops and night- life. TARIFA (30 min drive) Famous for wind-surfing and kite surfing. For the more adventurous Morocco is just a 30 min. ferry ride from here. BAHIA PARK (15 min drive) Waterpark.

Golf: A GOLFER'S PARADISE: The Alcaidesa Heathland (Dave Thomas) and the Links (Peter Alllis) courses are both par 72 and have stunning views along the beach. The club house (new in 2007) is 10 min walk or 2 minutes drive from the apartment. Almenara ,San Roque, Sotogrande ,Valderrama and La Duquesa are all a short drive away.
