This house is my family holiday home with all the facilities needed for a very well equipped holiday. Set in the centre of the village, with traditional features and in an enclosed walled garden, the main house has three comfortable bedrooms and in the Garden House a twin with en suite facilities. An additional small double is available on request making sleeping max.10. During the summer months the outdoor pool will be available as well as the table tennis set up in the outside barn. The property is set in the centre of a small village with a local shop and several restaurants/bars. At Christmas, a tree and decorations are provided as well as logs for the fire. With snow on the ground, the property is perfect for the festive season!

Set within the beautiful Kali Basin in the Hungarian Balaton Uplands, this friendly sleepy village is well located for exploring this fascinating region. Within a short driving distance of the Hungarian Sea, Lake Balaton offers so many activities. The countryside is gently undulating for the cyclist with breathtaking geological mountains looming on the horizon, offering a patchwork of vineyards to introduce themselves. The property is 15 mins drive from Tapolca which has supermarkets and town facilities.

Additional information about rental rates

  • For stays shorter than a week please enquire. During peak times a week's full rental is preferred. Deposit required 40% of total holiday booking in advance with full payment to be received a month before the start of the holiday let. A refundable deposit of £200 is required to cover any damage, breakage and any loss which will be returned once the property has been checked after departure. A deduction will be made from that should the house not be left in a clean and tidy manner to which you found it and a further clean will be deemed needed. This property sleeps 9 very comfortably; however an additional small double bedroom can be available should your party be 10.

  • Out of peak seasons, long weekends or mid week breaks are available. Please do contact me and I will see what I can do. This property is only 2 hours driving time from the Austrian border so suitable for short breaks from central Europe.
    Prices quoted in Pound sterling but can accept Hufs or Euros direct into foreign bank account.

Towels and sheets provided for use at property only. Towels for beach are not.
