The Villa de la Lune is situated 15 km north from Nice, between the seaside and the mountains of the Alpes Maritimes, surrounded by a big garden with an absolute breathtaking marvellous open view over the sea and the mountains. The villa is located in a secluded place for people who are looking for peace and tranquillity in the countryside, close to nearby mountains, beaches, towns and cultural events. Chateauneuf Villevieille is a small village clinging to the slopes of Férion mountain range at 22 km north of Nice. You can visit the vast ruins of the former medieval village of Châteauneuf, which have now become overgrown with vegetation, but they are still accessible. Discover the underground passage ways, the towers with dungeons, the guard rooms, cisterns, dykes and passages which often lead to caves. This is an impressive, wild and mysterious site surrounded by magnificent landscapes. The current village of Châteauneuf Villevieille is a pleasant calm place surrounded by beautiful countryside and 300 hectares of forests where beautiful walks are possible. At the same time the coast and the sea are only 30 minutes away...!
