Situated just 2.5km outside the city of Funchal, in the popular Forum shopping area, this is a spacious well equipped 1 bedroom apartment on the 7th floor.The apartment has twin beds which can be pulled together to make a large double, 1 full bathroom, spacious lounge with cable TV and Dvd player, well equipped kitchen with everything you need for your self catering holiday. There is a large south facing balcony, looking out to the ocean where you can sit and soak up the sun, There is secure underground parking available if you wish to hire a car to explore the island. The apartment complex has a communal pool which is normally very quite as it is a residential area so many people are at work Shops, bars and restaurants are all within an easy walk, so to is the promenade where you can walk along to the lido area, admiring the gardens and views to the sea. The city centre is in easy reach by bus or if your feeling like a nice stroll will take about 30 minutes.

Great choice of shops, bars and restaurants on your door step makes this a very popular apartment for all ages. Within a few minutes walk you have the Forum Shopping Centre, which has shops, food court, and large supermarket for all your grocery needs. There is also a multi screen cinema if you fancy catching a movie, all films are in English with Portuguese subtitles. Madeira has many things to offer, and it is well worth taking an island tour and doing at least one of the Unique Levada walks the island has to offer.

A superb apartment with everything you need for your self catering holiday. The pool was lovely but it can only be accessed by steps which was a bit inconvenient for us. the pool was lovely though and never too busy!
The apartment was in a fabulour location with cafes, bars, restaurants and shops less than a 5 min walk away. The road directly in front of the apartment was very noisy but traffic had been re-directed from another road nearby, so I don't think this will normally be the case.
No need for a car, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk and you can access the whole of the island from there. It's a lovely stroll into the centre where you will find more restaurants and the lido.
Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments, the traffic has been diverted at the moment , but the main road should be re-opened end of September which will make for much quiter road noise in front of the apartment.
The pool is very nice and has a few steps, so if your with small children and a buggy this can be a bit of a problem , but i will look into side access to the pool where no steps are needed.
The location is very good , and buses are an excellent and cheap way to get around, and not to far to walk into the city centre.
