This elegant and well appointed villa is on the exclusive 'Residencial BelAir' in Calpe within 800 metres walk of the tennis club that has a bar and restaurant and 1500 metre walk of the town centre. It is far enough away for peace and tranquillity, yet close enough to take full advantage of all the facilities Calpe has to offer. Entrance to the property is through a remote controlled electric gate offering constant security. The complex consists of 15 semi-detached and terraced villas in a U-Shape around a communal swimming pool with Mediterranean garden laid out with grass and palm trees and the villa has views of the sea and Calpe's Peñon d'Ifach. Hot and cold air-conditioning is ducted into every room and the bathrooms and kitchen are finished to the highest quality. The kitchen is fully fitted and there is a hob, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, washing machine and dishwasher.

Calpe a medium sized seaside town half way between Alicante and Valencia and the main town is just fifteen minute walk from the villa. Less than half a mile down the road is the tennis club that also has a bar and restaurant that is open to the public. Calpe has a wonderful fish market near to the iconic Penon d'Ifach and there are several fish restaurants there. Market day is on Tuesday and provides an opportunity to buy souvenirs, fresh fruit and vegetables. Calpe boasts a long sandy beach and many shops, bars and restaurants. This area boasts 'the best all year round climate in Europe' according to the World Health Organisation. So with 320 days of sunshine a year you can take advantage of a Spring, Autumn or Winter holiday.

The Costa Blanca: The Costa Blanca is renowned for being a shoppers paradise offering everything from fashionable clothes, leather goods, perfumes and wines as well as an abundance of fresh fruit, fish and vegetables. Numerous restaurants, some with live entertainment, offer local, national and international cuisine. A trip through the valleys and up into the mountains among the pine forests and the almond and citrus groves provides some spectacular scenery, and there are always places to stop for a drink and a meal. Benidorm is a short drive away and offers excellent shopping and nightlife plus the new Terra Mitica Disney style theme park. Coach excursions are available to these and all the other popular attractions.

How To Get There: Casa Rosada is in Calpe, a popular seaside town on the Costa Blanca. It is just 12km from the motorway junction and only 1500m to the shops and restaurants of Calpe and only a little further to the beach in this varied and comprehensive town. The journey from Alicante airport is 75km, nearly all motorway, and takes just under an hour. From Valencia airport it is 130 km and will take 80 minutes, again nearly all motorway. Flights to Alicante are available from a number of airlines including AerLingus, BMI Baby, British Airways, Easyjet, First Choice, FlyBe, FlyGlobespan, Jet 2, Monarch, Ryanair, and Thomsonfly which operate from a large number of UK Airports. There are now twelve UK Airports that offer regular, scheduled flights to Valencia from five different Airlines: British Airways/ Iberia, Easyjet, Jet2, Thomsonfly and Ryanair. This villa was absolutely lovely! Perfect for our needs, with two lovely bedrooms and a functional kitchen with a big dining room living room. The pool was 20 feet away, perfect for that early morning dip. The villa was easy to find and felt very secure being in a gated community
It had air conditioning which was useful and both showers were fantastic, very powerful! We had our own sun loungers to use and outside table with chairs, I can't recommend this property highly enough, great value for money especially for familes who don't mind doing the whole self catering holiday...perfect for us. Calpe was very sweet and pretty, lots of bars and restaurants to chose from. I would definitely go back again!
