Le Borgle is located just minutes from all amenities, riverside beaches and market towns. Set in the heart of one of France's famous wine growing areas. Perfect for couples, friends or families, the property benefits from a pool, fishing lake and acres of picturesque and totally private land. The accommodation has a very large open lounge with dining area, 2 fully equipped kitchens, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathroom/shower rooms. Also there is a static mobile home on site with an additional two bedrooms. The property has several gravelled entertainment areas providing both sunshine and shade. A 20ft x 12ft above ground pool is located adjacent to the house with outside cold shower and covered seating area. Also included is a large private fishing lake! Several riverside beaches are only a stones throw away, Parcoul, Montguyon, St Aulaye and Aubeterre. 9 hole golf course situated close to Aubeterre (15 min). Lively markets in nearby towns, Chalais (Mon), Riberac (Fri) Libourne (Sun)

The main house has 4 bedrooms, a lovely large living/dining room, a kitchen and bathroom. It is a traditional Charentaise house with all the features; exposed walls and beams. To the front is the main terrace which offers fantastic views over the beautiful land and lake. The gite is to the rear and side of the house, has its own access and also access via the kitchen in the main house. There is a kitchen, living room and a double bedroom - the living room can also be used as a 2nd bedroom. Within the gardens is a static mobile home, also included in the rental. This is in very good condition and has 2 bedrooms as well as a living room/kitchen area and bathroom.

Golf courses and tennis in the area: There are two nine hole golf courses within a short drive of Le Borgle. Both of these have food available, one of these golf courses has tennis courts and the other, Longeveau, hires clubs, has a pool, a restaurant and a creche. The nearby towns also have tennis courts. Angouleme, Cogac and Libourne all have 18 hole golf courses, just a 45 minute drive away. Local lakes and rivers: There are plenty of rivers and lakes around the area for canoeing, kayaking and fishing. Several lakes have beach areas for swimming and some have slides, volleyball nets, children's playgrounds and cafes. The River Dronne, close by, offers lots of fun for all the family with boats and canoes. You can hire boats and canoes for one, two or four people, in several different locations along this river, so you can see lots of different parts of the river as you drift down stream watching the world go by, or stop and have a picnic on the riverbank.
