Monte do Sol is a delightful single storey villa located at the top of a hill in the private Montinho estate backing onto pine forests. French doors from the main bedroom, dining room and lounge open onto a covered terrace with spectacular views to the southern Algarve coast as far as Albufeira to the east and beyond Lagos to the west. In front of the terrace is a separate barbeque area with steps down to the pool area which has a bar and changing facilities.

Nearest Airport: Faro at 70 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 25.0 Kilometres
Car: necessary
The town of Monchique is 5 kms away and there are a number of excellent restaurants in the area. South coast beaches are a 20 min drive, west coast beaches a 40 min drive and golf at Morgado is 15 mins away. Monchique has a daily produce market and other markets during the month. Surfing is very popular on the west coast beaches which are very spectacular with long stretches of sand. There is a surf school in Aljezur and also wind surfing just north of Aljezur. Spa treatments are available at the spa resort of Caldas de Monchique which is a 10 min walk away. The new Algarve International Racing Circuit which is expected to host the Portuguese Grand Prix is a 15 min drive.
