Photos and Description of this Aubais holiday villa 4 bedroom house, sleeps 8, 10 min walk to village centre

Private home surrounded by 27,000 sq. feet of landscaped garden with a variety of vegetation (pine and oak trees, bamboo, boxwood, banana trees and palm trees) as well as three connecting water ponds containing a large collection of Japanese Koi fish and multi-coloured water lilies. Private 28,87 ft x 14,76 ft pool. House sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms. The village centre is about a 10 min walk where you can find a small grocery shop, the post office, druggist, 2 bakeries, restaurants, and the local and international press is also sold. There are many nearby sports activities such as golf, sailing, kayak/canoe, horseback riding, swimming, tree climbing and hiking (trails accessible from the house). Cultural activities are also offered (museums, festivals, Roman monuments and ruins) in the nearby area. The beach is 20mins by car. The two main nearby cities Montpellier and Nimes both have airports that are serviced by Ryan Air and/or Easy Jet. The TGV can be taken from Paris or Lille to Nimes

1 1/2 hrs drive to Aix-en-Provence. 40 mins drive to Uzes. 3hrs car drive to Barcelona Spain. 3 hrs car drive to French Riviera (Cannes, Nice). Ryan Air offers flights to both Montpellier and Nimes airports and EasyJet from the Montpellier airport. The airports are both about a 20 min drive to our home. The TGV (very fast train) from Nimes to Paris is a 3 hours ride, trains are also available from other main French cities. About 11 hours from London by car. Nearest Beach is about 20 mins by car. Three international golf courses are within a 20-40 car drive.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A down payment of 50% of the total amount of rental will be paid by either bank transfer or Euro cheque upon signature of rental contract. In the case of cancellation of more than 60 days before the start of rental, the down payment will be returned minus an indemnity equal to 50% of down payment. Total sum of rental is due in case of cancellation less than 60 days before the start of rental.

    A security deposit cheque of 2500 euros will be asked for upon arrival. The cheque will not be cashed and will be returned no later than 10 days after your departure provided there are no damages to property.

    Visitor's taxes are included in the rental price.

    We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance.

Notes: Due to the water ponds in our garden and to the layout of our Japanese style bedroom, we prefer families with children over the age of 6. Two of our bedrooms are main floor level and easily accessible to people with trouble going up and down stairs. Our stereo system is an indoor and/or outdoor system, it is hooked up to the TV system, dvd player and is i-pod compatible. Don't forget to bring your i-pod(s) and listen to your own music play lists. We have a large selection of English and French reading books and magazines for adults and children that are made available to our renters.
