This modern house oozes character set in a quiet cul-de-sac in the residential suburb of Boa Nova i n Funchal City. Tranquillity and seclusion abide yet only 7 minutes drive into the centre of the action. As one enters the gate to park in the drive one gets a feeling of arriving home. The house is in an elevated position yet the gardens are mainly level and well kept stocked with some of the finest specimens of local flowers with their vibrant colours. The view from the house and gardens is spectacular in the day and at night over the valley to the Port, perfect for New Year's Eve firework displays. There is a large comfortable lounge with cabo TV and Bar, formal dining room and a second TV lounge. The dream kitchen also has seating for 6 is well equipped to the highest standards with oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, and much more. Upstairs there are 3 double bed rooms and a chill out area where there are 4 futons for extra guests served by 3 bathrooms

This lovely house nestles in a quiet residential suburb of Funchal. It is well secluded yet has the most marvellous views of the Port where one can view the luxury cruise liners visiting, as well as the smaller fishing boats and those embarking on tourist trips to view the dolphins and whales who live in abundance in the waters close to our Island of Madeira. Funchal is famous for its fish and flower market which is just a 10 minute walk from this house. There are daily supplies of fresh fish, including espada, which lives in the very deep waters surrounding the Island and is unique to this area, The array of beautiful flowers with their vibrant colours are also delivered here on a daily basis. One can order flowers of your choice in boxes taken on the plane for friends and relatives who will be amazed at their beauty. Fresh fruit and vegetables are also in supply there where the locals girls will offer you a taste of the more unusual fruits before you buy, quite an education.
