Tastefully decorated open plan studio, sitting area, 1 double bed, 1 double sofa bed, 1 bathroom with shower, seperate toilet, fully equiped kitchen, washing machine available, dining area, ample storage space, TV and Hi-Fi, WiFi Internet, books, games, central heating, big terrace with sea view and garden furniture, shared garden with water feature, BBQ. Towels and bedlinen provided, semi serviced, breakfast and dinner available on request (extra charge). Owner lives on site. NO PETS and NO SMOKING. Not suitable for disabled people. Altitude 100m, SW facing, 800m walking distance to beach, 900 m to village centre, shops, day clinic and train station to Barcelona 55min. Plza.Cataluña.

Sant Pol de Mar forms part of the Maresme region, a narrow strip of land between the mountains, Serralada litoral, and the sea. Old traditions, gastronomy and a rich cultural inheritance have made this area north of Barcelona a favourite international holiday destination with a very mild an favourable climate. The Nature Reserves in the mountains provide all year round activities and adventure sports, golf, horseback riding just to mention a few. For the beach tourist the region offers long sandy beaches and great watersport activities including fishing and sailing. Many fine internationally known Restaurants have locally grown produce on their menu, such as strawberries, tomatoes, peas, beans and mushrooms and the best seafood the Mediterranean has to offer. History goes back to prehistoric times, the dolmen of La Roca and to the middle ages with its castles and fortified churches and many examples of fine modernist architecture. Nearly every village or town has a Museum.

Location was perfect for quiet, peaceful relaxation. Apartment and surroundings better than pictures portray. Clean and comfortable. We would recommend walking and train for getting around unless you have a lot of experience on European roads. Cons: maid service, washing machine, meals not available/provided as advertised. Internet is available off and on in this area (which is to be expected). Payment made by bank transfer in the amount requested. You will pay your own bank fees as well as the owners.
