The area surrounding can be described as middle class and gives the general homey feeling; sitting in a general easily accessible area, attractions in the north of the island are the St. Nicholas Abbey, The Wildlife Reserve, Cherry Tree Hill for a fantastic north eastern view, Morgans Mill to see how the islanders many years ago extracted sugar juice from the sugar cane to make sugar; the east coast view(pacific side and the exact opposite to the west), Animal Flower Cave, the mullins beach is quite a popular stop for tourists off the cruisers and the restaurant sits right on the beach; Anglican, Catholic, Methodist are all within a ten minute ride. Taxi is easily accessed and island tours are easily arranged and can be customised by the client. Cruising, island safari tours, A T Vehicles tours, cycling, fishing, diving (snorkelling), water sports are all accessible and are done at Mullins beach or are a mere phone call away.
