Well, the Annema: it is beautiful. The kitchen opens up to the living room. The 2 bedrooms have a comfortable atmosphere (1 double bed, 2 single beds that can be pushed next to each other) and in the living room there is another "good" chair bed that is very easy to operate. Through the many windows you feel really close to the water. There is one terrace, the living space is 13.40m x 4.30m (exclusive terrace). 200m room the Annema is an evening shop. Just across you can get fresh croissants in the morning. A supermarket is 5 minutes away, the tram stops by the corner and there you will find even more different restaurants, brown coffee, jazz clubs and discos, directly near the Annema: discover Amsterdam on foot, by bike or by boat. Forget the car.

Amsterdam combines modern with old, business with art and an active commercial harbour with the charm of Rembrandt's days. It is a colourful city with flower markets along the Kais and music in the streets. Amsterdam has fifty canals that provide for a romantic atmosphere during the day and night. The house boat Annema is located in the city district of Oud West. This district, just like Annema, borders Jordan. Oud West is a part of Amsterdam that is less crowded by tourists. It is cosy. The district of Jordan belongs to the centre of Amsterdam and has a very interesting history and is also very romantic. The "Noordermarkt" on Saturday in Jordaan is a great opportunity to experience the real Amsterdam. But also the Dam, Koninklijk Paleis (royal palace), Nieuwe Kerk (new church), the Anne Frank house and the Westerkerk (western church) can be reached in 5-10 minutes from the Annema on foot.

Schönes Hausboot im Jordaan

Wir waren mit einer Männergruppe (5 Leute) auf der Annema zu Gast, wurden persönlich empfangen und eingewiesen. Die Lage ist gut und trotz Kneipe am gegenüberliegenden Ufer und Hauptstraße in der Nähe für Amsterdam angenehm ruhig. Das Boot ist schön eingerichtet und sauber, die zwei Schlafzimmer und der Schlafsessel bieten ausreichend Platz. Ein großes Fenster lädt zum Chillen ein, und man kann sich auch auf dem Steg zum Boot auf ein paar Stühle raussetzen. Wir fanden am besten, dass man einfach ein "Haus" ganz für sich hat - ohne Hotelnachbarn. Das macht die ungezwungene Hausboot-Atmosphäre aus! Der persönliche Kontakt zum Vermieter war über Mail und Phone möglich, sehr, sehr nett. Die Straßenbahnen sind sehr nah, auch ein Supermarkt, der sehr lange geöffnet hat. Ich in mir sicher, dass ich nicht zum letzten Mal auf der Annema war und kann sie allen lockeren Leuten empfehlen, die auch ohne täglichen Zimmerservice nett Urlaub in meiner Lieblingsstadt machen wollen!

...sehr nettes Hausboot mit ausreichend Platz für 4 Personen. Es war sehr sauber und die sanitären Anlagen schön und modern. Die Anmietung und das Handling vor Ort war super nett und vollkommen unkompliziert. Die Lage ist sehr zentral; Bäcker, Supermarkt und sämtliche anderen Shops sowie öffentliche Anbindung (Tram) fussläufig erreichbar. Grundsätzlich sollte man sich in Amsterdam aber ein Fahrrad mieten, da die Stadt recht klein ist und man mit dem Rad alles erreichen kann und man nicht abhängig ist.
Alle, die noch nie auf einem Hausboot waren sollten das mal gemacht haben. Ein tolles Erlebnis!
Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.
