Have you ever tried to spend your holidays without TV? At our place you won't miss it! If you prefer lazing, hiking, roller-skating, cycling or exploring places by car - you are bang on target. Close behind the garden the forest spreads out, and the bike trail “Ilmradweg” is tangent to the village. In Stedten-upon-Ilm you can enjoy a silent rural idyll, only 10 minutes away you find bathing places (reservoir beach and indoor pool). Within 30 minutes by car you reach old viewable towns like Erfurt, Weimar, Arnstadt, Ilmenau or Rudolstadt. Thuringian castles and palaces, theatres and museums are awaiting you. Trip consulting (including personal tips) are available at your host. And after (or instead) a exciting on-the-road day you can relax and feel at home. Sitting-room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and terrace are at your disposal as well as books, records and board games.
