Location: Cotignac in France
Cotignac is a well-known village set in Provence Verte, with a population of just over 2000 people, featuring a famous rocher and ruined towers and with beautiful surrounding countryside teeming with vineyards producing some top-quality wines. Everything you need can be found in the village, boulangeries, butchers, fresh fish shop, epicerie, pharmacy, gift and antique shops, cafés, bars and really good restaurants, there is also a central wine cooperative. In summer there is an open air cinema, and an indoor cinema in the village centre, a packed programme of cultural activities make this a popular village year round. Ideal base for visiting the coast, the mountains, the Verdon Gorge and the numerous typical provencale villages in the surrounding area. If it wasn't such a lovely place, we wouldn't live here!
